Josh, Dawn and ailesh are amazing the whole team make it such a special. Terry is also a 💎. Really could say enough clean. Perfect room great food 👌 incredible value for money

Room and beds okay. No hot water in the shower in fact not enough water coming out to actually wash. Evening meal was terrible. Fishnot cooked properly. No chicken in the chicken curry. Rice was like water. Breakfast was better but juices watered down. Tra and coffee undrinkable. Hotel was way out from town centre. Won't be staying there again. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Only good thing we made our own entertainment in the evening with the artist

Rooms are a little dated but loved the atmosphere in this hotel. Friendly staff. Nice garden for sitting outside and having a drink in the summer, sunspot. Unusual decoration theme based on Josephine Baker. I enjoyed exploring all the corridors and marvelling at the art. Very near to the cliff top railway which takes you down to Oddington beach

Hotel needs a lot of tlc especially the paintwork. But our room was very clean towels were white and fluffy. Reception staff very good. Unfortunately when we were there the restaurant wasn't open.

Stayed for new year, big mistake wish I read trip advisor before I booked even if was last minute. No clear management or communication between staff. Fire alarm went off three times during our stay. One staff member on duty at time said someone smoking in room (3rd time be out), so called manager wearing pontins clothing claimed it was a fault in his flat? There was nothing gala about new years eve. Food was basic but choices there and kitchen and waitress worked well (they did hotel credit). During our stay it seemed they had partnership with council with the number of people from the streets in the hotel some had been there for weeks apparently. Also hotel was not the cleanest in public areas and smell of drugs in stair well and 2nd floor as well as outside the doors. On positive great close proximity to Babbacombe Downs.

We like the Trecarn hotel in Babbacomb it's a good friendly place, we were there over the Christmas period and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meals are good and the Christmas day dinner was excellent also the Christmas day evening buffet. Our rooms were clean and tidy and as requested were on the first floor. Entertainment was also good. We can recommend this hotel the staff are friendly and approachable.Thank you for our pleasant stay.

Basic accommodation at low cost - good if you just need a place to sleep. No internet connection anywhere in the building, low quality of food and facilities.

Not the most modern- currently being updated. Excellent bedroom and bathroom, clean and bright. Meals were hot, tasty and enjoyable with good variety (only choice of vegetables small let down). Staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Special praise for NATALIE on reception who changed room from first floor to ground floor to avoid stairs for 2 of our party; answers all questions with a smile and put up with some very rude workmen whilst keeping her composure. In the dining room TONY was unflappable, very efficient, very affable and helpful with everything he was asked. If you want good value for money and an enjoyable stay this hotel fits the bill

We stayed in for a night only. The room was surprisingly big and it has a bath which is a plus. The TV was outdated though. If your are a light sleeper, this place is not good for you. You can hear the footsteps and the creaking of the floor when people would walk outside your room. I have woken up numerous times all night. I had to take my medication just to get some sleep.Overall, it was fine. If you want to stay just for a night, that would be fine. The price is affordable and budget friendly for travellers like us. I would not suggest if you want to stay here more than 1 night.

After reading the previous reviews I was dreading coming here on a 4 night stay but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. The rooms are dated but spotlessly clean ,the food is basic but plentiful and piping hot and the staff are very helpful . If you want something you only have to ask . The entertainment is varied and although the bar calls last orders at 10.30 its been enough to have a good night but not be kept awake with people slamming doors at all times . There is a large delivery of new furniture ready to be put in the rooms as people check out and they are making a big effort to freshen everything up . The outside is very shabby looking but I promise its not as bad as your first impressions suggest .I am here on a coach tour and for the price you pay you really couldn't ask for better value for money . Based on my experience this week so far I will be booking more trips in the future .
