Blagdon Inn in Torbay

Put £20 in the machine, management ‘not available’ so basically daylight robbery in a pub. Slow service and locals say that’s happened loads before. Sort it out!!!

Nice areas to sit in and enjoy the sun pub itself nice and old and qwerky, good range of beers ciders spirits available, food about a 7 for taste against cost

Nice food friendly staff clean and tidy.

Not great, 13 of us ate some items we had to remind them we'd ordered, I had fish and chips which was rubbish, fish over cooked and very thin. Food served on some sort of paper on the plate which started to disentagrate as you were eating.

Really disappointed, drove a far way to go to this place, we booked for a meal and made a reservation. We turned up on time and sent us away along with many other guests, saying there was no food left and no staff, when asked to speak to a manager they were "too busy" they could of have the curtesy to ring up beforehand instead of us having to drive to them first. It is now too last minute to book somewhere else for a table.

Food good and all staff we met really friendly. AGY was totally outstanding with my special needs son.

I had the chicken and my god this was so good. My partner had a burger, another had the ham and eggs and one had the chicken 🍔 burger. All were extremely well executed and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend. Great staff and dog friendly

Food was absolutely lovelyCould be more choice on the menu. The takeaway menu is better. We had to ask to order food because the waitress either forgot about us or just didn't want to serve us. This was 6pm so it wasn't busy. Inside the restaurant is beautifully decorated very homely.

Not bad at all. Prices were pretty reasonable, it's dog & kid-friendly (with a couple of decent playparks nearby) which makes for a convivial atmosphere. Decor pleasant. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. ... I asked for my my steak blue but it came rare, which was a slight shame, but blue steaks are increasingly harder to come by in the UK, so can't grumble too much.

We came here at the end of November for 4 roast dinners and a childrens meal. The roasts were amazing one of the best roast dinners we’ve all had. And plenty of it.Childrens Mac and cheese was tasty but daughter didn’t like the herbs in it.The staff were lovely and very helpful as we had a double buggy so put us some where I could have that near as baby asleep. The decor is beautiful and I really want their chairs as they are sooooo comfy!!
