We ate at the Bomboras restaurant twice while we were at Torquay. The food was fantastic, the oysters were great & the marinara & ribs I had were both fantastic meals. My wife enjoyed her pizza & pasta too. There is online booking where you can request indoor, outdoor undercover or just outdoor seating. The staff were compliant with wearing masks & checking covid vaccination certificates. Nice selection of cocktails.During the peak summer they also set up a pop up bar which was above the salty dog cafe. It was a great atmosphere again with a great cocktail menu. They also had a pop up beach kiosk with drinks & snacks.A great local establishment!

Delicious food and nice service! Hummus sauce was helping the harmoney between bread, poached egg, spinach and bacon!

We ate here with friends and I found the food very good. The portions were excellent and it was well priced too. We all had a different dish and they all looked good. Good staff make a good evening and these young people were very attentive. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants a good feed.

Inadvertently ended up for breakfast here and so happy I did. The breakfast wrap, big breaky and coffee could not be faulted. The service was also friendly which made for a very enjoyable experience. I would return.

Good feed, reasonable prices and clean! Staff were fantastic and friendly, checked our certificate with no fuss, got a table straight away. Had the mussels and burger, both servings left us full, plenty of tap beer variety and other drinks…nice to sit in front of the ocean and enjoy a meal.

Bomboras was our last meal during a recent visit to Torquay and it was a great way to finish an enjoyable getaway.The menu is one of the better breakfast menus you'll find these days with plenty of variety.I had the chilli scrambled eggs on sour dough which was really good, my partner had eggs benny, just as good and the kids menu is impressive.Friendly staff, quality coffee and a gorgeous sea view makes this a perfect place to grab a top meal.

Visited here for lunch, ordered the Miso and Honey glazed Atlantic Salmon, huge slab of gorgeous fish, tender, beautifully cooked with asparagus & rocket 😁👍 Bombie Pizza had a nice dark colour, porterhouse on the dish, was amazing, took it to the next level!! Chunky fries, were well cooked, with nice crunch, and well seasoned, Aioli was light and tasty! 😋😋😋 Will definitely be back 👍👍

We came for lunch and then returned for our evening meal. All I can say is - these two meals were two of the best meals I have ever had and my daughter thought the same. Can not believe the size of the tasty pork ribs. Everything was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and all of the ingredients of each meal were more than plentiful. Loved also the gnochi and lamb salad Anthony and all of the staff member were so friendly and obliging. We will definitely be returning and promoting it to our friends.
