Perfect place for a stroll all year round 😍

·

Amazing, beautiful, clean place lovely walks for every one as easy or hard short or long as you want them to be. Lots to do lovely shops, cafe ,pub and the stables are lovely to.

·

Mansion itself has been closed since start of COVID pandemic restrictions hence less 1 star. Otherwise grounds were lush green and the rose garden still had plenty of blooms in late September. The cafe offered unusual savoury scones including goats cheese and chive with chutney and more goats cheese in red and white respectively so it still looks like a traditional sweet jam and cream scone when layered on. Definitely inspired to try to make that at home now!

A beautiful place, I was lucky to live just down the road and was often taken here as a child, always visit when I'm back in Torbay

What a fantastic place. Beautiful open gardens.. Was lovely to walk through. Fabulous buildings with a surprise as stables have been cleverly fashioned into small retail shops and retail workshops. Manned by the artisans who can produce personal jewellery and works of art for you. Extremely dog friendly. Well recommended to everyone. It was good to see young family's with their young children enjoying a day out in this massive parkland.

·

Great evening of Gilbert and Sullivan, on the lawn at Cockington Court, accompanied by a nice oat milk coffee from the cafe

·

Directional signs very poor. Play park very boring. Grounds are beautiful.

Since our last visit in 2019, there have been some additions to enhance the visitor experience. Disabled parking is vastly improved with spaces much nearer to the Manor House and Craft Centres.Pandemic restrictions have not scuppered the restaurant. Four of us had a lovely lunch which were able to eat outside. The grounds are just as beautiful and everything is well maintained. Staff were observant of social distancing; a great pity those forming queues were not.
