Dornan's Fish and Chips Shop in Torbay

Got charged £7 extra for the privilege of being able to sit inside. Food wasn't very nice. Chips seemed to have been cooked then reheated as was the checking burger. We won't be going again

Ordered fish and cheesy chips, which were delicious. Portions are huge and reasonably priced. The fish was fresh, the batter was so crispy.

Came here in the Summer after making a delivery in Torquay and loved the fish and chips. So it seemed rude not to pay other visit today whilst making another delivery. Both times I had the Brixham Hake, the fish was full of flavour and batter is light and crisp, chips are perfect and the mushy peas and curry sauce are spot on. Sensible sized portions and fairly priced. Will be calling in again next time I'm down in the area.

Went today Feb 2nd so out of season, but the food was still great. Cooked to order, do duper fresh and hot and really tasty. Place was really quiet only 2 customers but top notch place to eat on sea-front.

Oh my goodness...literally the best Fish and chips we have ever eaten. Choice of eating in outside or take away. Lovely father and son who own this.

Generous portions of well cooked fish and chips. However, they had a strange taste, like the oil they were fried in needed changing? Service was great and we would visit again the next time we're in Torquay as the location on the seafront is very close to the Premier Inn we stayed in.

Visited Fishionados last night before seeing a show. Had the best homemade fish cake and veggie burger. Lots of food on the plate and was all yummy. The restaurant was really clean, and staff helpful and polite. Thanks guys. Will return in the future.

We stumbled on this place after all the other places we wanted to eat at we're either booked up or had staff or supply issues.It wasn't a compromise. The fish and chips were excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Being able to sit outside on the late evening sunshine probably helped too, but I'll remember our meal here fondly.

A very popular fish and chip shop. They do gluten free aswell, very easy to order and felt safe doing so as a coeliac. Their vinegar is GF also and they clearly labelled the GF box for me too.
