Green Ginger in Torbay

Be prepared to struggle to find a seat. Obviously very popular as the venue was heaving. Despite this, the staff were cheerful and so efficient. As soon as a table was vacated, that table was cleared and cleaned. The food was lovely, my favourite, pasta Alfredo and chicken. Hot and delicious. I would of given 5 star, however, got given a dirty cup for my self serve coffee. No problem exchanging it and the staff was apologetic. Other than that, everything else was clean including the facilities and spot on. Thank you

We went in for a snack and ordered the pizza's. We ordered through the app and although it was a busy lunch we had our drinks and food within 10 minutes! The food was great the tables were clean. A great experience.

It's a Weatherspoon's. Reliable value food drinks and toilets that are clean.I like this place for breakfasts as it has a bit of a view.Wait time for food and drinks can be very variable though otherwise it would be 4 star.Serves some good guest beers.Looking forwards to burns night.

My wife says best Wetherspoons in their uk. We love Derby but this one is great too prices are low and food great, we always visit here when in Torquay. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Was the food gourmet? No. Was it affordable and pretty tasty for the price? Yeah. Don't go to a 'Spoons if you're expecting to be blown away by the quality. But overall, the place was clean, the food came quickly and was prepared well.My only reservation was the fact that there didn't seem to be any COVID restrictions in place, no masks worn by any of the staff. I understand that in hospitality, COVID restrictions can hinder communication and business, but at the time of my visit we had experienced the 5th day of record COVID cases recorded and I did consider it abit strange to not even see the person bringing my food to the table wearing a mask. The table cleaning service also wasn't all that quick, but there was only one clearer covering alot of tables.This isn't aimed at criticising any of the staff. Its my opinion that the company probably isn't supporting them adequately in implementing these measures effectively. I can't fault the service I received in fairness. Just some observational concerns.

What a terrific venue. The usual consistent quality food and drink, really good value, for this pub chain. Really helpful and friendly staff, top service using the APP. So enjoyable, wanted to move in.

Popped in this morning as car needing new pads. Bargain of the day £2.49 with unlimited coffees Well Done to all.Excellent value with great service

I have been here so many times but recently I think staffing problems have let them down. We ordered lunch and it arrived 20 minutes later but without drinks. I had to ask a waitress twice and then go the bar after finishing our lunch and still waiting drinks. The lady was apologetic but it still meant we had to quickly drink our drinks 45 minutes after arriving and then left. Has to be said though, spoons is always good value for money.

Ok first time in this pub,lovely large venue in great location,by the sea front ,now the negatives the food was poor,the kronebourge was flat,would not reccomend,I have visited many spoons pubs but this is one of the worse,sorry to be so blunt but its the truth.

Went today with family, they ordered some curry I ordered burgers, my initial order was a bit slow maybe more than 20 minutes but it was a busy August lunchtime. As a tourist to torquay I don't know if they are short staffed like some other places . Good food and service though
