Hamiltons Club in Torbay

Came down from the Midlands for a holiday for my birthday. Called in for lunch on arrival to check booking and it was great. Birthday meal with friends and relatives on the Sunday was fantastic and went back for a meal again in the week. I've never been 3 times to the same place on a week's holiday when there is so much on offer in the area. Top marks for the chef and all the staff - really friendly and efficient.

Hamilton's is an excellent place for many reasons.Whether you want a nice relaxing drink inside or outside with good background music or a light bite or lunch the food and drink is excellentThere is also the evening restaurant where you can dine in style too.Thursday sees happy hour on cocktails between 5pm and 7pm.The food is exceptional as are the staff.Table service is provided dogs are welcome outside.Highly recommend this place anytime of the year. The soups are a real pleasure and so tasty on a cold winters day.

Very good foods!!Very generous portions and spectacular food at great value. Good views of the bay and on-site parking too.

Such an amazing meal, Amy was one of the most incredible servers I’ve ever come across, so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the whole menu! She was top notch! We had a booking of 10 and everything from the food to the service was just brilliant! Catered to all the allergies and requests! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and their food! Fantastic!! Thank you so much to all the team!

Popped in with a family member on a Wednesday night for a quick drink and was very impressed. From the outside to inside, it looks very elegant and the staff were excellent. Did not eat there myself (only had a drink at the bar) but will definitely be going there soon with my wife.Drinks were priced as expected for a more high end location and the atmosphere made it worth every penny.

Had an amazing meal at this lovely restaurant. The waiter was very attentive and service was excellent.The standard of food is Michelin star level and at a reasonable price.It was a quiet evening with only a few parties dinning and unfortunately the atmosphere was ok but I would imagine on a busy evening the place would be amazing.Definitely will be returning.

It was the first time I have been to Hamiltons and didn’t really know what to expect but it was great.It was a quiet week night and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Joe was amazing and went over and above and really made the night for us.Food also delicious. Will definitely be going back.Just one suggestion: please could you have one or two more vegetarian/vegan choices.

Wonderful evening!! The food and service was outstanding, and our waiter was amazing. Hamiltons exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend this little gem. We’ll definitely be back!

What a fantastic experience from start to finish!!! My father was visiting on holiday to celebrate his 60th, so I called up the week before, booked him a table and bought a voucher over the phone to pay for the meal. The vouchers arrived on my door step the very next day, in a beautifully presented card, envelope and voucher itself. The place was stunning, with equally stunning views. When my father and his partner arrived they were greeted with a glass of prosecco each on a table with wonderful views. Every dish was well represented and every inch as delicious as the last. The whole team was fantastic and really went above and beyond to make this evening special, including delivering a happy birthday dessert treat! 🤗 Will be recommending far and wide and will most definitely visit again.

Lovely food. Lovely staff especially Joe who was our waiter. Not a huge menu but that usually means the food is better. We had the crab starter followed by a whole plaice (Catch of the day) and sea bream. Both delicious. A chilled bottle of French rose was a suitable accompaniment.
