Harvester in Torbay

I was visiting Torquay alone and wanted somewhere to have a quiet, relaxing pint, ideally with a decent view. The rooftop terrace of the Harvester in the quay was the ideal location. Although more expensive than the local Wetherspoons, the Harvester is much less crowded, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is prompt and polite.Thanks for a chilled hour of 'me time'.

I was dragged in here for lunch on a Monday - I have never had a good experience at a Harvester so I wasn't happy... However, the service was superb (Tiff was our server she is a credit to the restaurant) the restaurant and restrooms was spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. Will definitely eat here again if we're in the area.

Was great food and good service. Becky the manager was super helpful and welcoming. Will be returning with family again. We had a table of 8 and all were happy with the meal.

Our server was a lovely lady called Carol, she couldn't have been more welcoming and accomodating. She was funny, patient, helpful and very swift. Food came out quickly and at the same time so there wasn't anyone sat waiting. The desserts were even quicker and she was so patient waiting for the kids to finish deciding what they wanted.Very great experience, give the lady a raise!!

Great service, great food and a lovely location. We keep coming back here year after year, except for Covid lockdown restrictions, and have never been disappointed. Our latest visit was excellent. Our waitress Carol was exceptional. She was the busiest person in the restaurant and was faultless.

Couldn't have asked for a warmer reception from Becky. No reservation, no problem. We were seated in a couple of minutes, with a stunning view over the Quay. Our Server Tim was very polite and attentive.The salad bar was lovely, main meal good quality and dessert delicious. Great value for money. Probably the best Harvester I've been to. Little things like clean and tidy restrooms make a difference. The overall decor was nice, and restaurant spacious. Would recommend.

First time as a family going to a Harvester and sad that it was on our holiday and not close to home!! 😔On arrival were happy, plesent and professional staff.Lovely clean and tidy.Food was amazing and cooked to perfection.If we go back will definitely go again and gutted we don't have one close to us in Weston-super-Mare!! We always enjoy this Harvester, good service, good food and the views 😍This time we went for my birthday, unfortunately the one dessert we all chose was out of stock!! 😕 but otherwise was a lovely visit. Would recommend 👍🏻
