Henrys Bar in Torbay

Loads of delicious cider to choose from. Spoilt for choice! Friendly staff, a nice little bar near the sea front.

We always visit Henrys bar when we visit Paignton. Great service. Brilliant choice of drinks and food is always top notch.

Working away and staying very near. Definitely worthy of a visit. Had rump steak. Was lush. Good drinks on and 10/10 staff. If your lucky, you might get the cocktail lad who makes all sorts. Definitely coming back when i come back

Popped in while on holidays! Nice place friendly staff and good selection of drinks, they also serve food but we didn't have but looked nice when being given to other customers, the place itself was clean and tidy toilets clean and tidy would definitely go back.

Pub was like a greenhouse with heating turned up too high. Ordered Thai cod and prawn fishcakes with salad and new potatoes. The only decent thing on the plate were the new potatoes. The salad came with a dressing on which I didn't ask for. The fishcakes were just discs of greasy mush. Won't be going there again

Best bar on the short sea front strip, nice beer and friendly staff. The food looked nice and was very popular with locals and tourists. Dog friendly, paws on the floor and not running around. Tables can be reserved. Due to the age of the building no disabled toilet. Overall very enjoyable experience ❗

So pleased with our lunch today, also very full! Great roast, great cider, friendly atmosphere and staff. Very enjoyable and reasonably priced..

Had a lovely meal here , mrs had steak , I had lasagna. It was really nice . The service was great. The chef was really nice . Stayed for drinks after too . Good value for money . Staff were really polite and friendly. Will definitely return .

I enjoyed an evening here a couple of months ago whilst on business in Paignton. It was a sodden night and there was little open so when I passed Henry's Bar, it was just a relief to get out of the rain. Service was OK, I did have to ask more than once for a drink I had already paid for but, within the scheme of things, a small criticism. Jo was lovely, the food was excellent, good pub scoff. I certainly return in an instant. Recommended!
