Honeymoon Restaurant in Torbay

Just finished my meal here on Thursday James was absolutely amazing nothing was to much hassle and made us very welcome and the food was awesome always hot and changed out Reguarly will definitely return

Great value at 14.99 for all you can eat, big range of dishes all cooked to perfection and a large selection of sweets to choose from too. Highly recommended

Staying down this way for a while, we decided to order chinese take out, always a delight.The quality of the food is unbelievable, crispy beef is not crispy, smothered in a thick, almost jelly like sauce which was nothing but a sweet vinegar taste.Salt and pepper chips is a complete joke, imagine the old KFC fries, moist with a couple onions tossed in.Fried rice comes in sauce, since when? Chow mein was a soggy overcooked mess and EVERYTHING was lacking flavour!I've given one star out of five, it should be one out of ten!

I ordered a takeaway from here 10 days ago. What followed in the days after having mu Chinese can be described as the worst I've felt after eating anything in my life. I lost 8 lbs and had the worst case of food poisoning that I can remember. I ordered my meal and was given an eta of 75 to 90 minutes..... when it arrived close to 15 minutes after ordering it was a bit strange but it was all hot so I thought nothing of it. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice and a side of crispy seaweed. I missed out on 20 hours of pay due to being off sick from work which is down to the cooks at the Honeymoon restaurant. I certainly will not be going there ever again and if I'm honest it's put me off having Chinese food for a while if ever again. Thanks for making my 2022 start of on a high note. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The honeymoon restaurant has amazing food amazing staff and is amazing value!!!! Never had a bad meal or bad service!! I'm sure people who leave bad reviews about this venue have their own agenda!!!. It's simply superb!!!!

We'd come here tonight whilst on our holiday and we've never felt so welcomed into a place before. The staff were really lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They were also really great with the kids. The owner was also amazing and really friendly and the food was top notch and super fresh. We'll be back next year when we stay in Paignton again.

Food is always of a decent standard from the Honeymoon restaurant in Paignton. We tend to order off just eat and they have something for all the (picky!) family to eat. The chow mein is very tasty. Would recommend if you are looking for a nice meal with fast delivery times.

So friendly and welcoming. Turned up yesterday having not booked but the staff were very accommodating. I enjoyed the food and recommended this restaurant 5*

Very warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door.James (Front of House) - Very kind and welcoming, asked for an item which wasn’t on the buffet and wouldn’t normally be served, however he asked the chef for it especially and it came out tasting amazing.Food is 10/10 and it’s all you can eat for a good price. Choice of Desserts were unexpected but again very good.Not from the area but will be coming again.The waiter (George) also explained how the buffet and menu works as soon as we sat and made the visit very enjoyable.Thank you all !Singapore sunset cocktail also goes down a treat.

Very cheap but not the highest quality. This is the case for both buffet and takeaway. If you're after large portions then a good option. For the price good value overall. Service is always polite though not overly friendly.
