It's a beautiful day in Torbay....walked to Goodrington and back and now in need of a nice late lunch. This restaurant is perfectly located on the top floor of Hoopers Department store with stunning views across Torbay. And the service and food are excellent. We had bacon, brie and chutney paninis which were delicious. Decent restaurants are few and far between these days but this place is certainly a cut above. Seating area is good.....just need to get rid of the awful stained carpet!!

Best place to shop in torquay , i love this store , nice staff , lovley coffee , lovley products , wish it was in Bournemouth !!!!!! I just drove 100 miles for a spa weekend , 1st stop before check in , Hoopers !!!!

Fantastic we went there on our first day of the holiday with my mum and dad.

Arriving at 3pm the ladies couldn’t wait to tell us it closed at 3.30 and in fact started putting stuff away at 3.20! The tea was tasteless and the cheese scone was cheese less and could not be eaten without a drink as it was so dry. Chucking things on our tray, forgetting milk on someone else’s and one couple leaving due to lack of welcome and no one serving. Come on Hoopers you can do much better than this.

We visited the zest restaurant while on holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had sandwiches and panini for lunch, Came with salad and crisps too. We came back later in the afternoon for a cup of tea. We'll done.

Fantastic restaurant on the top floor of Hooper's Department store. You'll get a great meal, reasonably priced, and a wonderful view of the shopping district of Torquay. They seem to have various daily specials, to keep things interesting. Highly recommended.
