Inn on the Green in Torbay

On Friday we had a lovely family meal in which the food staff & service were excellent. On Sunday we decided again to visit as a family for Sunday Lunch for my Granddaughters Birthday . Unfortunately the Sunday roast was awful. The Carrots & peas were not edible the meal barely warm My husband chose turkey & it looked that processed he took off the plate. The kids that ate of the main menu were okay. Again the front of house staff worked very hard. We didn't raise an issue as previously everything was excellent.

A very clean pub. lovely, polite and helpful staff the man who was behind the bar ( I’m guessing the manager) was amazing very bubbly. We had 2 dogs and they enjoyed being able to come and sit with us! Definitely will be coming back again couldn’t fault the place :)

Visited off season as there is a rapid car charger in the car park. Had reasonable pizzas and decent beer while waiting. Car park fee can be reclaimed against your bill. Staff were excellent.

Best pub in the area. Friendly and jovial staff, good selection of drinks, top quality steaks,great music selection and ambience, good bar snacks and lovely decor with great views of the beach and pier surrounded by tropical palm trees. We will be back!

Very nice meal here chosen from a good varied menu. As the name implies it's located right on the green facing the pier. Car park at the rear and outside seating at the front when the sun is shining.A lovely spot to read my book "Professor Harry Parker and the Tunnels of Argonaut Bay" by Steve Pick available on Amazon kindle!

Hi, went there a week ago with my 2 granddaughters!! 😵‍ wanted somewhere quiet to put them, the manager gave us the perfect table and gave them paper and pencils, we ordered food and drinks, the food was very good and amazing value, the girls were very well behavef! 👍 We all had a good time finished off with a walk onthe beach, sally young

A good place to eat and service was efficient. I was surprised at how relaxed some of the staff were about Covid restrictions. However, it's very spacious inside to keep tables/guests distanced. Happy to recommend.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely taste of the Seasonal menu. Really tasty, well cooked turkey. Well worth the money. The Xmas pudding with caramel was good as well. Cudos to the chefs James & Dave. Sorry, no pics cos the food disappeared so quickly!

Visited twice. First time shut until midday so had an excellent lunch at another pub. Following day again visited Inn on the Green and tried lunch. Food nothing special but ok. Staff not all wearing masks which was upsetting for my wife who has been shielding. Remember this was before ending of lockdown rules. Disappointing for a chain pub to be breaking rules.
