Isaac Merritt in Torbay

Had a roast. Asked for beef got lamb,. Seen more meat on a discarded carcass on dartmoor. Was warm at best, cold Yorkie pud and cold hearted staff with overpriced food. Avoid and find somewhere else.

One of the best Roasts in the Bay , and believe me I have tried a lot , food plentiful and you can tell it’s all home cooked , great Yorkshires with piping hot amazing gravy . Good prices and good staff , See you Sunday

Love this place.Even more accomodating than when it was a Wetherspoons.They allow dogs 👍👍Kept cheap beer prices 👍👍Good food 👍👍I make altered books and they went out of their way to donate some books for me to alter. How kind. Thank you 🙏🙏

Our first visit since it ceased being a spoons. Excellent range of local ales and ciders at good value. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Only came in for drinks but it felt more adult orientated so an improvement over spoons.

So much better than a weatherspoons, great staff , cheap drinks and fabulous tapas , I highly recommended this pub now after staying away for many years , clean environment something you don’t see in many pubs anymore . Thank you Isaac Merrit

Good bar service with plenty of real ale choice. Plenty of seating areas in a roomy pub. Good food menu

Wow what a transformation, place looks lovely and tapas are great , we have avoided this pub for many years and now I think this will be our new local . Great friendly staff , a great night out . Thanks

A great full-English breakfast, washed down with beer! ! Can't be bad!!!!! Service was maybe a little slow , but staff were pleasant and courteous .
