Excellent food cooked fresh. Best Takeaway in the area

Its the only chinese that doesnt make me feel ill after eating ? I have a MSG intolerance? Food is amazing

On holiday in the area and chose here from a number of different options. Wish I'd gone elsewhere. I lost my taste in the summer with COVID and thought it had temporarily returned tonight. We had a selection of dishes for four and every one was totally bland and tasteless. The 'chinese chicken curry' should be called 'chinese onion curry' it was bulked out with so much and the chow mein was just a bed of noodles with a slimy concoction topping. The only reason for two stars was the speed of food while waiting, it was hot and the ease of parking outside. Do yourself a favour and look at other options.

I’m from Singapore. Travelling here with my husband. My mother in law went tour to get our order and I ordered crispy Peking chicken and satay prawns and it came as- sweet and sour chicken and some gloopy prawn mess. Nothing satay about it. Lol what a joke

This is the first time I have used Jade Palace and never again. I had only had a few mouthfuls of rice when I felt hair in it. I pulled out a long, dark hair as pictured. This put me off the whole meal as I felt physically sick. I've never experienced this with fast food before and obviously the person cooking did not have their haired tied back. It makes me wonder what other hygiene practices they are not adhering to.

On holiday in the area and tried Jade house as it was local and had good reviews.It was overall disappointing take away, had a variety of dishes - chow mien, chilli beef, sweet and sour - and all below average for a Chinese take away, in terms of flavour and quality of ingredients.Whilst I appreciate Chinese take away food is a very personal preference, we have travelled extensively and tried many, many Chinese take always over the years, this is not one we will visit again.

Absolutely delicious. We ordered from here for the first time tonight and this is now our favourite cantonese/chinese by far. Very tasty and hot food and a friendly customer service. Thank you

Ordered a sizeable meal to feed 5 hungry individuals and so many different dishes get back and find out that many are missing. Call them up and they claim they were not on the order yet i paid a hefty price in cash to them for this. Also bee warned the chowmein noodles are angle hair variety so not the normal chow mein style. All in all very disappointed indeed and will never visit the place again or recommend to anybody. Avoid.

Best Chinese takeaway in torbay, food is always tasty, fresh and hot. Excellent waiting times even during busy periods. If your looking for a new top takeaway, you won't find better. Highly recommended

Got to be my new favourite Chinese and I've tried bundles from Newton Abbot, Torquay and Paignton so am quite the connoisseur haha. Great service when ordering threw me in some crackers delivered in great time too. Great value, quality and quantities very fresh and was good to see special fried rice in the original tin boxes like they all used to use which hold more! The ribs were tasty and tender too. Defo recommend thank you.
