My teapot came without a lid, apparently ALL broken or stolen! Had to go in and remind them we'd ordered food. We had olives and croquettes, no napkins. Shame as we are meant to be supporting smaller establishments.Plus side it's in a great spot especially if the sun shines and you can sit outside.

The view is nice, service was also good, but the food was average. My husband had a chewy steak and I had some bland muscles (although the portion was really big). The goat cheese salad consists from a piece of goat cheese, 4 pieces of lettuce, 4 little pieces of beetroot and half of a walnut.I only like the desserts and coffee.

Absolutely smashing meal last Sunday. All nicely paced and all four dishes were superb!!

Food is to good standard. Good views on window tables. Staff are attentive.50 min wait between starter and main was a little hard to swallow.... book as it does get busy.Would be 4stars if we did not have the wait.Worth a night out.

Great food in a stylish place with gorgeous view. Front of the house are very welcoming, plates beautiful, prices reasonable. I love the atmosphere in this popular and busy part of the town.

We've been here several times and it never disappoints. Tonight was buzzy and vibrant. It's so gratifying to see this great business bouncing back after the pandemic.Try and get a table upstairs. More lively, somehow; and better views over the bay. Especially in the morning for breakfast.

Superb - we really enjoyed it we booked for a 14:00 table - we both had the £15:95 for a 3 course meal - the staff were excellent very knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble - I highly recommend the house burger- my wife enjoyed the chicken noodles - don't leave without having the sticky toffee pudding - overall an excellent time we had a bottle of fiz and gin and tonic - after the meal we moved to the terrace to sit and enjoy the beautiful views -

Food is very tasty. However, half the things on the menu were not available when we dined her. Staff also seemed quite inexperienced. Unfamiliar with their own menu and busy chatting amongst themselves rather than concentrating on the diners. Certainly a few things that management need to look at improving.

Booked in for a lunch while on a day out in Torquay.. When our allotted time arrived we were taken to a table out on the balcony. As it was a bit of a erratic day weather wise it was a bit concerning .. But turned out it completely sheltered. There is tho a terrace area for days when sun is shining. There was a price fixed 2 or 3 course lunch choice however as it was a Sunday we went for the Sunday roast option at £13.95 choice of either gammon or chicken. Most amazing roast ever tasted! . Had the chicken which came with roast potatos and creamed potato, glazed carrots, red cabbage, stemmed broccoli, yorkshire pudding and gravy. I certainly was not expecting such a decent portion and of such good standard. Our waitress.. Dolly... was lovely and super friendly.

Very happy to eat here for the 2nd time especially that today we get a special offer for Bastille Day - 3 course menu for a good price. However the restaurant is mainly based on advance bookings and is always fully booked. From my experience the quality of food and an excellent table service are the main reason for that.If you are going there for the first time I would recommend to try Calamars with garlic a'ioli sauce for starters. They're so fresh and crispy and tasty...You can't go wrong with any of the mains but if you ask me I will never refuse the Boeuf Bourguignon.Amazing culinary experience.Highly recommended.Sima,London, UK
