Stopped in for lunch, wonderful resteraunt slightly off the beaten track that was a lucky Maps find.We had the Osaka special bento box which was lovely, generous amount of everything that was just right as a slightly large lunch, and even came with fruit as a nice cleanser at the end.Really nice overall menu selection of Japanese dishes that left me wondering if there was anything I wouldn't eat (answer:no) so must go back there again.

Place is lovely, food is amazing and the staff are nice. You can actually really taste the food unlike alot of places you go to... They do takeaway (worth ordering a little bit before hand) and eating in but I'd definitely recommend 👍👍👍

Delicious, fresh food. I don't even know why I took udon noodles as I am not a big fan of thick noodles but this was so delicate and tasty!!!! I highly recommend this small restaurant! Gyoza!!! I forgot to take pics so one will do!!! Ladies there are super nice!!!! Will 1000% be back and back and back....

Great little restaurant with authentic Japanese food from Osaka. Made in a nice homely style. They are very accommodating if you are veggie or vegan.

Beautiful food from Maido, first time getting their food and ordered ahead.The staff are really lovely and so accommodating.Had Beef Katsu and Chicken Karaage, both were very hot and packaged very well for takeaway.A time slot was booked in advance to ensure Covid protocols were adhered to, very impressed.Thank youMax

Really fresh and tasty food, we had a family meal from here and although two in the family aren't very adventurous with food we all absolutely loved it! It was a great introduction to Japanese food for us and we will definitely be having more!

Great authentic Japanese food! The atmosphere of Maido is a very wholesome one: two friendly Japanese ladies serving home-style authentic food. All the food here is amazing and very well priced. The okonomiyaki (cabbage, pork, and chicken pancake) was very tasty as well as the pork gyoza. The pork in the "sakura" bento box was sensational, and the the onigiri (stuffed rice balls) was very flavoursome. The omurice was also very nice, but had more Westernised flavours from the ketchup. Finally, although they initially forgot to cook it, the (minced) pork yaki-soba was very tasty, with its sour and meaty flavours. They were nice enough to give us a Japanese matcha KitKat as a token of apology for the wait, but it's easy to keep entertained by trying some origami from their book.
