Mama's Dessert Kitchen in Torbay

Delicious dessert at MaMa's Dessert Kitchen.Had a warm banoffee cookie dough and strawberry shortcake milkshake. Both were generously portioned and freshly made to order. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for that sweet fix, especially nice as it's air conditioned inside on a hot day!

Went yesterday delicious big portions. The menus are large I wanted to try everything so hoping to, the next time.

The portions are so big that u have to bring in a friend to help u finish the waffles, but i enjoyed it!

Disliked, we eat in house wait 40 min for pancakes and waffles , where only customers eating in. when arrived pancakes and waffles where not warm, from 5 yards from the kitchen to are table they should be hot. Very Disappointed.Pancakes strange like heated up not freshly made, the vanilla ice cream is not special it everyday value from the local food wholesalers. It is however 1.50 more for the nice branded ice cream.The pancake where over filled with sauces and disgustly sickly to eat however the waffles where ok, despite not being hot enough.Attention seems to be for on online order, clearly can't cope with the orders hence the long wait inside.kitchen is noticed unclean, and table not wipe regularly enough not to a good standard, toilet with no lock , old, not so nice for a restaurant place needs a update .Gordon Ramsey need to visit this place!! They need a kick up the .##.. for the aporling service and food.... !

Have used these guys for a while now but this evening I was disgusted with what was sent to us. A tepid crepe that was so tough it must have been reheated from frozen - it even tasted like ice! Nothing like the usual quality but unfortunately so bad we won't be using Mamas again. It felt like we were not appreciated as customers let alone regular ones! How hard is it to cook a crepe from fresh?!?!?

After a few good experiences eating in at Mamas I decided to order online for delivery as a treat. Being in Paignton the estimated delivery time was extended at an hour - which to us wasn't an issue providing the food arrived around that time.After an hour and a half our order arrived - whilst we hoped it would still be fresh, it was melted and it was evident the order had been sat around for a considerable amount of time.The waffle was soggy, ice cream melted, and cookie dough presented in a very off-putting way. It looked and tasted like the cookie dough had been reheated in a microwave and the taste was not good. The ice blast arrived completely melted and so was a waste of money.Halfway through eating we found a piece of plastic embedded in the waffle - which put us off the rest of the food.By the time the order arrived and we discovered these issues the restaurant was closed, so unable to complain.Very disappointed and seriously considering whether to return in person or via delivery.

Very good value. Waffles, pancakes, cookie dough, sundaes and milkshakes. Even hot puddings when the season demands! Not so much choice for gluten and dairy free; but they did us a sorbet sundae with jelly sweets and sprinkles for our young dairy-free visitors which was declared the best dessert ever. The brave and very hungry should try the frankensteiner 🍒🍨

we had Eton Mess waffle and strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake.. gorgeous...... well worth the long wait. avoid the toilets......(otherwise would have been 5 stars)

Enjoyed a takeaway brownie waffle and banana and nutella crepe during our stay in Torquay. Very tasty and good quality food. Parking is difficult due to it being in the main city centre and it was very dark and dingy when I went inside with no-one else inside apart from staff. Also, they only had one fork and a few little spoons and we were staying in a bed and breakfast so had no cutlery. But overall enjoyed it!

Absolutely amazing desserts. My friend and I arrived late in the evening and received absolutely amazing service and desserts. I had a sundae, which was delicious, and she had a waffle, which she was happy with. I definitely recommend - not just for the food, but for the atmosphere.
