Mariners Fish and Chip in Torbay

Ordered a home deliveryTwo large kebabs with one chips..We were astounded at the large size. Chips were proper cooked chips.Very pleased and delivered on time.Thank you very nice to have found somewhere else to buy a takeaway. Will be back.

Fish cakes were a good choice, nice and crispy. Chips were proper, not greasy and fresh!

Always been the best chippy in my opinion. Had a takeaway tonight from them, they missed a small bottle of pop but the lovely girl who works there came out after her shift to deliver. Great service and food always. 10/10 to the girl who works there, she is a credit to you guys. X

Had fish and chips in the restaurant - a senior citizens special - cod and chips with a hot drink for under £7.Excellent value. The portion was smaller than regular cod and chips ( over £9) but plenty enough to sate an appetite.The rest room could do with a refurbishment and there was no soap to wash your hands.

We went in for our dinner around 5.30 to 6.30. We had excellent service and our food was cooked to order.I have a dairy allergy and they do a dairy free and gluten free batter, so it opened up my options.Very fair prices as well.We will definitely go again.

Nice fish and chips. Travel from Plymouth regularly to enjoy. Staff are very pleasant and polite. The senior citizen price of £6.30 is well worth it comes with a pot of tea also. We'll done Mariners.

We had the Senior portion of fish and chips with curry sauce 😋 A very generous portion and all beautifully cooked. Definitely go back there again when I'm in Paignton.

Fantastic food. Had too wait just over an hour for delivery due to quantity of orders, but can definitely say it was worth the wait! Best fish and chips I've ever had. Plus the curry source was delicious. Would definitely recommend to locals and people visiting the area like myself. A****

Don't bother honestly they mess orders up so much how do you confuse a burger and kebab, then they take 30mins or more to sort out your order out...recked our evening as 1 person waiting for food, all can say if you want greasy, soggy and overcooked food and the addition to not getting what you ordered then go here.We have been using this place for a year and lately its getting bad, we will be finding another place after our last meal. Very disappointed with the lack of apologies and service provided.
