Responsible price for the area lovely fish and chips not greasy, sat inside the service was good the staff was very friendly.

Nicks was the only Fish and Chips open earlier this month, yes it was all cooked to order, but very greasy, and the oil either wasn't hot enough or was old, so even the chips had a greasy unpleasant smell and taste. Perhaps it was too late in the evening and they were closing up, but I'd rather they just say sorry we're closed than serve us something we tried to eat but binned it in the end.

the chips are great but my friend is alergic to fish and we asked for large chips we did not mention fish so of course they gave us large chips with “no fish” but when me and my friend were eating she eat a bit of fish causing for her to have an alergic reaction I do not recommend going there if you are alergic to fish. 👎

Ordered a burger and cheesy chips, sat down and waited was ready within a few minutes when I attempted to sit back down with my food I was told I was not allowed to eat in as it was a takeaway order (I was not asked if I wanted eat in or takeaway when I ordered) when I explained that I wanted to sit in I was told I was not able to change the order to "eat in" (there was no one inside apart from me and a friend) and was told I had to take my food outside in the rain. Not sure if this decision is down to poor management or staff that don't care but is ashame as the food was pretty good (besides being swarmed by seagulls and getting wet)

Great fish and chips here and a nice chat with the 2 lads on duty. We even had some tasty pickled eggs and onions while we waited . An enjoyable experience.

Very good fish and chips. I had the haddock which for me is superior to cod and tasted good,chips were nice and chunky with good taste. A regular fish and chip shop and all seemed clean and tidy.
