Palace Hotel in Torbay

Stayed here with my 4 year old son for 3 nights.It is a very very very noisy hotel. The floors in all rooms are making a very loud noise makes it impossible to have a decent sleep, not only because of your own room but because of your next door and the people stay upstairs, whenever anyone walks it just wakes your up, so if you are looking for somewhere nice and quiet to have a good rest THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.What makes me so upset is that today is Monday, I was hoping when there’s less people in the hotel for a Sunday night I could finally sleep better, but a staff in the bar was playing very loud TV since 5am. I went downstairs to tell him it’s very noisy for our room, he then turned the volume down for like 2 bars and we can still hear everything very clearly in our room. So here I am to give this 1 star review at 5:30am in the morning. I’m really sad as I was hoping I could have a good rest here with my son, but every night I struggle to sleep because of the noisy environment! So disappointed.

Lovely three night stay with breakfast. Clean room. Pool was a good size with jacuzzi. Shame about broken showers and steam room not working. In good location for walking and pubs

The manager and staff all very polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms very clean, the food Is amazing.

Well what can I say FANTASTIC HOTEL .We have just had a 3 night stay the food was 1st class compliments to the chef .Staff fantastic very pleasant and helpful. Room was great. club room with seaview and room was very clean we would recommend this hotel with no hesitation. We will be back without a doubt to all at the palace hotel Thankyou for a lovely stay

Just come back from The Palace HotelWe spent four nights there, and I must say we had a brilliant time. We were given an upgrade to a family room overlooking the garden, which was lovely. The food was excellent,and all of the staff were very pleasant, and went out of their way to please. We would definitely stay there again. 5 out of 5.

The Palace Hotel put on an incredible Christmas dinner for all our guests. The setting was impeccable, the service was perfect, the choices of wine and food really great and we were treated like royalty. I can't speak highly enough for this venerable Paignton venue!! Thank you very much

Lovely Hotel on Paignton Seafront. Good food served & the afternoon tea is delicious! Attentive staff and a well maintained property, very clean and well presented. Plenty of off street parking.

Just came back yesterday 11/10/21 after a coach trip for the weekend. Couldn't find a fault wrong with it staff couldn't help you more if they tried .all nice and polite. Clean all over the hotel .brilliant view out of the room looking over the pier.thinking of going back next year.id would give 9 out 10. Food brilliant.

We had a one night stay following a day at paignton zoo. The hotel is in a fab location literally opposite the Peir! The staff were lovely, but particular shout outs to the restaurant manager and the bar tender (totally forgot to get their names!) They were absolutely rushed off their feet but still managed to deliver an amazing, warm and friendly service. The hotel was really clean and our room was huge, beds were comfy & pillows were lovely and squashy! The pool was great, again lovely and clean, the temperature of the water could be slightly warmer but I'd say that about most pools.Can't wait to come back could of easily stayed a few more nights! Thanks Team!
