Port Espresso in Torbay

Such a great little spot, tight space but they’ve really made it work well. This our first visit back to Brixham post-covid and this is one of the best breakfast’s I’ve had here in the past ten years coming here! Staff were super warm too.

Looking for somewhere to have breakfast on a Monday, many were closed 😫 but took a chance along Middle Street and came across this one, there were a couple of guys sitting on a bench outside waiting for their takeaway coffee, I asked if they knew if they did breakfast, they replied a very good one. Sold. We were not disappointed. Coffee came with a little bottle of milk, reminded me of my school days when milk was free to all children. Ordered a Portside and hash breakfasts. Both looked great, my hash was yummy 😋 and was told the Portside was cooked as she liked it 😋 I finished off with a mocha which smooth and a perfect end to a delicious breakfast. Somewhere I would bring friends to.update : 22 June 2022Still the excellent service from the staff, got a couple more stamps on the loyalty card. Sat on the couch this time, nice and cozy.

Seriously tasty and quality food considering the size of their kitchen soace. I’ve spent the whole time looking for a door leading to a huge kitchen, but nope.Really nice and refreshing menu with great prices. Very glad we stumbled upon this place.

Great brunch food, generous portions, and friendly service. A genuine smile and a little humour goes such a long way to making an enjoyable visit. Highly recommended.

Friendly and welcoming staff, the food was tasty. The cafe has a nice quirky atmosphere. Vegetarian and vegan options of drinks and food available. Picture of “veggie brunch” (tried out of curiosity instead of a meat version, and it was good). We had a takeaway coffee few days ago and my oat cappuccino was delicious.

First, the staff were very kind.Second, coffee was sweet and savory.Lastly, the avocado open toast with a poached egg was fabulous!I highly recommend here.A nice little cafe in Brixham!
