Went for a meal at peak time on a Saturday night, and even though the restaurant were short staffed the service was very attentive. The menu was limited but when requested I was able to get a sweet lassi. Food was cooked fresh.....had south Indian lamb curry and chapati....both really decent. Chef even came out to check on us....will definitely return

Our meal was very tasty, nice cold beers, friendly staff. Would definitely come again if we are in the area again :)

The food is super tasty and the service is outstanding. On our 3 day visit to Torquay, we ended up having dinner here on all days. Tried various vegetarians dishes and all turned out to be great. Their chutneys are the best I ever had in my life. The lady chef takes personal interest in suggesting dishes and customizing them based on the requirement. She just goes above and beyond for her customers. I wish I could have given them more stars.Definitely recommended for Indian food in Torquay.

Had dinner with friends today here, cozy ambience, authentic and tasty idli-dosa and salt lassi. The service is a bit slow but the food is really good, will recommend.

THE WORST CURRY IVE EVER ORDEREDThis place doesn’t even deserve a start. IT IS VILEThis is not an Indian just ordered two curry’s they have absolutely no flavour the most bland food I’ve ever tried. The tikka masalas taste like sugar has no flavour. These people need to educate they’re taste buds as it’s an insult to the culture.Feel like I’ve been robbed I called up and complained and the woman was useless.I wouldn’t not order from here it’s vile.

We found this restaurant on google and the good rating made us curious. We were not disappointed. The service was great, very nice and attentive. But to the main reason for five stars is clearly the food.It was delicious, fresh and very tasty. Even if we really love Indian food we try to eat not very spicy. They got the spice level exactly right for us.So if you are around and looking for great Indian food this is the place to go.Thans - we had a great evening.

Wen't To Richie's tonight and could not recommend any more highly. Everything in the SW is a Balti and it warms my heart truly, to eat authentic Southern Indian style cuisine again. The customer service was just as warm and welcoming as the food was tasty. Really glad I found the place and safe to say I'll be returning soon.

Dosa, parotta and lamb curry were very good. Biriyani not great. Only in the restaurant for over and hour and handed the bill despite not requesting it. That's poor form.
