"Our restaurant is situated on Victoria parade overlooking the inner harbour right in the centre of Torquay. We have 44 covers inside and a small outside covered pavement area where guests can sit and enjoy our seafood. On colder days the restaurant is heated by log burner, a perfect end to a bracing coastal walk. Seafood is delivered to us daily from the Brixham fish market just across the bay next door to our Rockfish restaurant there."

We went back two days in row for our dinner. The food was really tasty. I love all the food especially their mussels! The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. They recognised us when we went for our second dinner and welcomed us with big smiles xx Very pleasant dining environment xx

Good quality dishes however do not order the locally caught fish unless you want to pay 45 pounds per person for a small portion off fish and chips. Also despite the unlimited chips promise I found the wait staff really good at avoiding attention on chip refills. Also check your bill as they add a discretionary amount for a local charity without asking. As I said good quality but stick to the menu cod and chips unless you want to feel ripped off.

Too much choice of fish, if anything, and the chips were perfect. Great selection of drinks with some off-piste options for the youngsters - I'd recommend the golden ale though if you're aged enough, and into that sort of thing. Lovely staff. Overlooks the (extremely picturesque) harbour.

I went to Rock fish in 2019...I find myself still talking about how great our experience was! The staff that looked after us were unbeatable, so fun, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Food was perfect and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere.

The best fish and chips in Torquay a little bit more than local fish and chip restaurants but worth every penny! Fresh fish, unlimted chips, curried mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce! Excellent, efficient and friendly staff. Worth booking.

Very tasty food with good portion sizes. I had the calamari and cod and chips. My husband had the mussels and lemon sole and there is no fault with the taste or the service. The covid hygiene there is of a high standard with tables, chairs, high chairs, salt & pepper mills all cleaned after each person has left the table. The best fish & chips in Torquay. Definitely recommend.

Not as nice a venue as the Brixham restaurant we visited a few days earlier but food was just as good. Really fresh seafood which was well cooked. Service was also great. A great option in Torquay but booking is essential!

Fantastic food, the fish was cooked just right and we could take our 2 working cocker spaniels in and they got treats to. Table service again excellent Olivia was fantastic nothing was to much trouble.

5 STARS!!!! After arriving 1 hour early for our table, we were seated almost immediately with a very polite friendly young man. We were immediately charmed by the young lady who explained the available fish, with real knowledge and such a great welcome. Well the best was yet to come, the monk fish was out of this world, so fresh and the Calamari was like nothing I've ever tasted!! and all topped off with the fisherman's coffee, fish something to try if you're not driving!! we highly recommend coming here for a treat, great service and the freshest fish available. We hopefully will be back x
