Scoffs in Torbay

Absolutely love eating Scoffs, they do chips which are brilliantly crisp on the outside and are completely fluffy inside. It's the perfect chip and chip shop!

Amazing fish and chips. This is not healthy food in the slightest the chips are even battered but they taste so good you honestly can't mock it they taste amazing and are actually really reasonable in price

Rather cool day at the end of March Scoffs was a welcome stop with excellent fish and chips, friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend stopping here if you are hungry and in the area. They are happy to accommodate dogs and even offered water for them. Ace customer service.

Thought I had tried most fish and chips by the Seaside but this has got to be one of the best. Batter fried chips and light battered fish. Superb and huge potions. Get in early as they get busy. Great service too.

Best fish and chips around. Took my grandkids at half term, felt sorry for the staff and the abuse they got from people. The holibobs crowd were moaning because they had to wait a few minutes for freshly cooked fish and chips. I thought the service and food were excellent

scraggy pieces of fish the last 2 in the cabinet, even though there was fresh cooking. And a large chips which was definitely a small and 2 curry sauce for £14.60.They were very busy but at the same time very unorganised and nothing cooked in the cabinet.Heating curry sauce and mushy peas up in the microwave. Pieces of raw fish just sat next to microwave not even covered.Then they said they don't take card as it slows them up that's why they prefer cash.But then had no change In the bag they took from under the counter.Was given a carry bag but had to pack my self while they served someone else. Customer service absolutely non existentWould definitely not recommend and will definitely never returnBest fish chips on Paignton peer

We make a bee-line for Scoffs' when are in Paignton or Brixham as we are now. Scoffs is a "must-have", bcos their batter is to "die-for" and their chips cooked in Beef-dripping I think!!!

If you visit Paignton you need to try the food here. The best fish & chips by far!We were greeted whilst walking past and offered a chip to try which lead us to eat in.The fish was delicious and not too greasy, the chips are amazing & the curry sauce was spot on. It was very busy, but that's expected with such delicious food. If we visit Paignton again we will definitely be eating here again.☆☆☆☆☆

Stopped for supper and oh my goodness the Fish and Chips were divine the best I have ever tasted. They skin and bone all their fish. I will definitely go back again and the staff lovely 😍😊

Without fail every year my partner and I visit Paignton we always go to Scoffs.Really nice and crunchy battered chips.Constantly busy so it's always fresh, depending the time you go there is a small queue but it quick service.Most staff are nice and friendly.Be careful when walking around to eat your chips as lots of seagulls will try and pinch the chips 😂
