Ship Inn in Torbay

Nice place to eat early doors. Clean and well set out. Four of us all had main courses 3 were good apart from my Mrs curry was a bit bland otherwise it would have been a five star. Will definitely go back.

We went to the ship for the first time a few weeks a go and loved it. Went again and to say we are disappointed is an understatement.My boyfriend ordered a pizza, and when it arrived, we knew instantly it was a £3 frozen pizza from a supermarket - yet they charged us nearly £10 for it.Probably won’t be coming back just based on that.

Just the job, good food, good prices and friendly service

Great customer service from the team and low priced food and tastes great also happy that my dog could enjoy a nice snack and water, so if you walking around the Preston/Paignton area you can't go wrong with this pub.

Top marks for this establishment. Food was gorgeous. Kids eat for £1 Monday to Friday from 3 to 7. Even has the option of a kids mini mixed grill! Never had that anywhere else. Friendly staff food was hot, delicious and on reasonable time. Would recommend to all

DREADFUL. Firstly the food took over an hour to come, then one meal came about 20 minutes before everybody else’s. Our drinks came over and was just thrust on the table with a tray. Was shouted at by a waitress and told she’d ‘confiscate’ a Pepsi off of a child as she thought it was an alcoholic drink even though it was black and very clearly a fizzy drink. A party of 8 (obviously a large bill) ,ordered at least 5 mixed grills with medium steak. The steak was beyond well done, it was charred!! Completely ruined our family evening when family have visited from London just before Christmas. Spoke to the manager who wasn’t even trying to help. Offered us a round of drinks after accusing us of giving drinks to a minor. Was planning on having dessert and a few more drinks there but after the way we was spoken to I didn’t want to stay a second longer. Doesn’t deserve one star but I have to leave something.

Lovely food. Staff were helpful. Good service would recommend a visit here. Good selection on the menu to choose from. Nicely decorated interior. Plenty of seating available. Large carpark to the rear of the pub. Very pleased with our visit here and would recommend a visit here.

Lovely pub serving great food. Excellent variety of meals & desserts from a comprehensive menu, including meal deals, sizzlers, roasts, burgers, kid's menu and lunch options. The staff were friendly and helpful, great atmosphere in the pub, ample car parking at the rear of the premises, no issues whatsoever. Highly recommended for either a quiet daytime visit or a more vibrant evening out.

Very poor quality steak, but apart from that the staff were wonderful, and a clean environment.

Absolutely love the charm that comes with this restaurant/pub. The staff are very firm on social-distancing rules which is fantastic. When I say this is the place where I've had some of the best food; I mean it. I make a point of going as often as I can. Great value for money and incredibly generous portion sizes.
