Shipmates in Torbay

Came as a party of six and sampled the breakfasts, cream teas, cake and hot chocolate. Everywhere was spotless, the staff were polite and helpful and everything we had was piping hot and delicious. Dog friendly which was a bonus. (Just beware the gulls if eating outside, my daughter lost a scone to a flying mugger!) Will definitely be back.

Absolutely terrible service! Very rude elderly lady behind the till. My wife is medically exempt from wearing a mask, she demanded to see her card in a very aggressive way. She herself only had a visor which let’s face it, does absolutely nothing!!! Avoid at all costs if you don’t want to be discriminated against.

Very nice bacon sandwich and a coffee! We sat outside as it was a lovely summers morning just watching the world go by. Good value for money! Would visit again!

Under normal circumstances I would say that this cafe has crammed in too many tables so can't believe that they can be Covid safe. Food had to be ordered and carried back from the counter and I struggled to get back between other tables. Once even more people arrived we felt uncomfortable and trapped at our table and had to ask people to move so we could get out.

We had cod, chips and peas x2. The food came out piping hot, the portions were large and the fish was sublime! Thank you!

Visited this afternoon, staff friendly and were keeping everything clean and clear for visitors. Food was priced well and quickly served. Very efficient and couldn't do enough for us!With all the concerns around this virus, they'd done everything they could do make everyone welcome and safe. Hope your season is as good as it can be!

Lovely place just on the harbour front of Brixham. We decided to have the cod chops and peas. It was lovely, crispy batter, not overflowing with chips which was perfect for me. A very good portion for a very good price. Considering they were rushed off their feet and hadn't stopped at day, the staff were efficient, friendly and smiling and ready to serve us. They have made it as Covid safe as possible, with the track and trace sign in and out book. Lovely place, lovely food lovely people. You couldn't wish for more. Thank you and long may you continue.

Our favourite cafe in Brixham. Full English & a coffee in the morning. Gel and a track & trace book on entry with a young lad serving that did an excellent job. The food was as good as always.

Excellent cafe on the sea front, one of the best burgers I’ve had came from here. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Almost all of the menu is available in Gluten Free as well which is a huge plus. If you’re in Brixham this is the cafe to go to
