Shun da in Torbay

After reading the rave reviews about this place we decided to give it a try. The tofu with mushrooms and bamboo shoots was ok. The beef in the beef and mushrooms dish had lots of gristle. The spring rolls were hard, very greasy and tasteless. It's not the worst Chinese takeaway I've had, but I wouldn't eat their food again. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I don’t understand how this place has good reviews?! One reason I ordered from here. BIG mistake.The worst Chinese…..take away I have ever ordered. It was all utterly repulsive. I feel nauseous now. I ended up chucking most of it away.The curry tasted like the sauce was cheap stuff they use on chips. The meat in the curry was like off cuts from a carvery?! A piece of chicken even had a fine bone in it. So gross.Have never in my life been so disappointed with a take away. Blergh blergh blergh. Really awful. Minging.

Probably the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Lovely.

One of the best Chinese I’ve ever had, I wish I could get it delivered to Cardiff. The meat was beautiful, and the noodles Amazthin like was absolutely Wicked, magic, Sound.

Well I'm normally more of an Indian fan. Tonight i was out voted. Visited and ordered. Wow. That food was brilliant. Very friendly staff providing excellent food at a reasonable price. Thankyou so much.

Worst chinese I have ever tasted. The spring rolls were burnt, no taste to them. The roast pork with bamboo and chinese mushroom tasteless and blend, the meat was very hard and dry. All the meals smelled the same of stale oil that they have been cooked in. Never ordering from them again.

Tried this place for a takeaway meal on just eat and could not believe how good this dinner was. We were all impressed with how tasty our meals were. Would certainly recommend and will be using this place when next in town.

A succulent Chinese meal.Best takeaway I've had in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly, ingredients seemed decent, fresh and tasty.Ordered via Just Eat as it was the closest to the village we were staying in, was more than pleasantly surprised when I went to collect.Noticed afterwards the menu advertised "No MSG or Colourings" .
