Small World Tapas in Torbay

Small restaurant but offers fantastic food! The staff are really nice and we enjoyed every minute there. I said I'd give 6 out of 5 stars for the great experience:-), definitely the best restaurant in Torquay!

Such amazing food! Enjoyed every second from when we entered the restaurant until we left. Staff were so friendly and helpful.We had informed them we had just got married and they made it as special as they could!I’d rate all the food we had 10/10 on presentation and taste.We shall definitely be returning soon.

Gems are hard to find but we got lucky with Small world. The tapas dishes are to die for, the service is spot on and all for good value for money. Suggest you book in advance and don't be put off by the requested £5 deposit - a restaurant definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing. Lovely food and our hostess (much more than a waitress) was really engaging. Our skewered beef was the most tender I have ever had.

We have been twice and both times we have eaten the most amazing food. The service is wonderful and the staff seem very happy to be working there! The food is delicious, full of flavour and of the best quality. I recommend the restaurant to everyone. We will be back again soon!

We have had the most amazing experience here. Seeing an independent restaurant with 5*, we suspected it would be up there with the best. But this incredible bunch of people are really in a league of their own.From entry to exit the service was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel welcome and relaxed. The recommendations from the team were helpful, and no request was too small for them. The menu (and staff) highlight the allergens in food and the team are more than willing to accommodate any requirements.The food itself was to die for. We have our favourite restaurants for a night out, and if this was closer to Cornwall, it'd take the top spot.You've got a real gem of a business here and we're thrilled to have had the chance to experience it. We'll be back, and we'd recommend that anyone visiting Torquay make sure to visit and enjoy some of the finest food around (just remember to book).

Amazing service from the moment we stepped in the door! The food at this restaurant was delicious; from the chorizo and olives with bread to the book of meats and croquettes. I loved the food being explained to me and the ambience in the restaurant itself. Highly recommend a visit if going to Torquay; you won't regret it.

What a lovely restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Chef certainly knows his craft. I had the wonderful Red Shrimps in Garlic sauce along with chorizo cooked in honey. Both were cooked to perfection. Followed by the Egg Box. In this is a desert with 5 mystery flavours. I managed to get 2 and a half correct. Sorry no clues, you'll have to try it for yourself!!Recommended, we will definitely be returning.
