This restaurant serves delicious home made dishes with great service in a lovely atmosphere. We learned it has long been a favourite with the locals and we can see why. May you continue to have success and we look forward to coming back again in the future

Best food we've had in a long time. Great menu, great price, amazing service, and delicious food. 2 meals with desert's and drink for under £50. The standard of everything they could price it higher. Obviously glad they hadn't. A hidden gem!!

What a little jem, tucked away. The starters were works of art, taste amazing.: prawn and pineapple starter, whitebait. The main chosen by us (braised steak roast) has been the best I have tasted in a very very long time. The tallest Yorkshire puds.Wonderful ambience, delightful team. A practically perfect place to enjoy real food.Hats off to the talented chef and team. X

This was one of the best meals I have had. So fresh and tasty. The young waiter was fantastic, knowledgeable snd attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Our party of 4 was served in a reasonable time and all of us throughly enjoyed the food we had. (pork. Seafood smokey, steak and kidney pie and stuffed plaice) we also had sweets and the value for money is exceptional. Thank you Avenue Bistro
