The Babbacombe Bay Cafe in Torbay

My husband and I came all the way from London to torquay for valentines and we decided to have breakfast before our long journey back home and this is the best I've ever enjoyed breakfast ever in my life,It made me feel happy.The eggs and harsh brown are made from pure love...This place deserves more than 5 stars thanks so much.....The pancakes was amazing wish I could visit again soon.

Was recommender by a friend. I'm glad that last minute we made it as they've been busy and fully booked during summer . This mussels are to die for. I could have them every day. Forgot to take pictures of my starter and dessert 🍨 highly recommending this place.

We went to Angels first but the staff didn't seem friendly. Went to this place instead and had better vibes. Friendly staff and felt welcomed and good seating. Good food too they do all day breakfast that was good and cream tea. They do above average coffee too about £3 but worth the money. Cream tea was made fresh and the scones were warm upon serving. Nice seating and lighting. Nice outside area. Clean too.

A very lovely cafe with a nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, good service - even though they were busy when we visited for lunch. The prices are a little higher than normal, but you get what you pay for. The quality of the food is very good. I was looking at the other food being delivered to customers, and it was all of a high standard. I will definitely visit again. It would be advisable to book.

Located in the most beautiful part of Torquay, this place is wonderful for both brunch with coffee and lunches with wine.Menu has all the classics dearly loved by the locals and visitors of riviera: English breakfast, Avo toasts, great selection of pastries/cakes and of course scones. Burgers, mussels and fresh catch of the day for lunch together with daily made soups and lovely deli boards.

Superb breakfast and the café décor is lovely. Staff are nice. They offer range of alternative milks and foods for allergies. They also have a children's menu also. Will be back!

Called in here for breakfast. Warm and polite greating by staff member, we had a bigger breakfast with pot of tea. Food was well presented and very tasty and the pot of tea was lovely. Will be coming back again as we live in the area.

Had brunch there. There were 7 adults and 4 kids in our party and to be fair it was Sunday and the place was rammed. I had the bay breakfast seen in the picture. It was very tasty could have eaten three of them 😂.Not 5 stars because we had to complain it was taking so long, we were offered free teas and coffees but sadly only after we moaned about the wait which was just over an hour for the 7 breakfasts and 4 kids meals.I understand how busyness can make things harder but they shouldn’t really fully book if they can’t manage the covers.

An absolute must visit even just for the cream tea... The fruit scones were nothing short of perfection, served straight from the oven with exquisite clotted cream.. To add to the best experience you'll be served with proper loose tea, not a tea bag in sight! We were served by a super efficient and attentive waiter who was faultless throughout our visit.. In a word amazing...

Beautiful good. Very good access for wheelchair. Friendly, helpful staff who all wear masks when serving food. Lovely view. Perfect lunch. We sat outside, the chairs were comfy. Dog friendly too.
