The boathouse in Torbay

Decent food, not bad atmosphere. Longer queues than you would hope, given most of the people queuing are after drinks. Good views with decent food cant deserve less than 4 stars, let down by the service.

Great beachside location, excellent coffee, food, local beers & cider. Large outdoor seating with stunning sea views. Very friendly & helpful staff & live music!

A very nice place, clean and bright. We had burgers, fish and a pannini, all had chips. The mains were very nice, the quantities generous but the chips left a lot to be desired. Not piping hot and limp. I'm also not keen on dogs in eateries.

Had a really good lunch with great attentive staff, spent 2 hours there so can't have been bad at all. Speedy service and well priced too with decent portions !! Thanks team !

The service and food was excellent. I have been here a few times over the years. There were far too many dogs for a small space and therefore I was not only able to hear several barking but smell them too - this was the main letdown.

Nice view of the sea. Friendly and helpful staff. Straightforward and no nonsense menu, good quality food and beer. Recommend a visit.

We shared a pizza. Vert tasty. Sat outside in the sunshine. You wait by the doorway until the staff call you in to order. You can sit inside. Be warned they are a few seagulls waiting for left overs. The staff are very quick at clearing the tables outside. It's best to book a table for dining inside. The staff are great. Totally reckon eating here. Good price compared to other places

Food was amazing. Really well priced compared to a lot of the rubbish you can get at the beach!Try to get the outdoor tables if you can, the view while you sit there is brilliant, especially at high tide on a summer evening.Will definitely come back again next time we're here.
