The Burton in Torbay

I won't lie it was an okay night just needed abit more music and not just football. When you want to have a good night out it wasn't the best place to go but if you wanted a quiet night in the pub then this is the place for you.

Excellent home made food, excellent price. Week day food and Sunday Roasts a must. Dog friendly local. Cheesecake is gorgeous.

Friendly, nice pint of Otter Head ale, cheeseburger and chips were nice too. Just a short visit,but I'll go back!

The Burton is the most welcoming pub in Brixham. Everyone friendly and the food is fabulous and very goox value. The staff are amazing and friendly.

After visiting Brixham for 35 years I'd never been to The Burton before now. The 4 of us, plus a little one, had a fantastic Sunday carvery for 7 notes each. 4 meats and a plethora of veg. Fantastic value and thanks. See you again

We visit Brixham regular but have never been to this pub until now and went based on the recommendations on the local Facebook group.We had a carvery (£7) which was lovely. The Burton is a more traditional local pub and is very friendly. There was a good selection of meats and vegetables all cooked fresh and really tasty. The meat is locally sourced too. It is a busy pub and booking in advance is recommend. The Burton is situated about 15 mins walk from the harbour. I wouldn’t recommend going in the car but for the less mobile there is a bus stop 2 mins away or good local taxis. They have a great 2 for £10 menu.

I only know this place during daytime hours but it's a friendly locals pub. Sadly the back garden is now out of use but you can still sit out front. This is a dog friendly pub too. However I've been told they have plans for upgrading the back garden this winter.

Me & the Wife visit Brixham every year & have already booked for next year, once we have unpacked our first port of call is the Burton Hotel, a truly traditional Locals pub, a stones throw from the Harbour, Ian & Yvonne made us so welcome, the staff are lovely & the place just has a really friendly atmosphere, fantastic Home cooked meals (2 for £10) & the Steak n Ale pie is great ! ... Premium lagers & Cider at less than £3.50 a pint, where as you will pay upwards of £5.50 in town, Live (good) entertainment, just wish it was MY local, see you again next year & many thanks for making our Holidays that little bit greater !!!

Great value and good quality ale ( less than £3 a pint). Friendly staff, jukebox, separated off into cosy drinking areas. Garden and patio. A nice change from the harbour pubs.
