Busy on Saturday with the Vinyl Avengers but bar staff did a great job, minimal waiting. Great service

This place was a great find! We were walking around the harbour trying to find somewhere for lunch on a Sunday and found this pub behind the high street. They serve only Sunday roast on a Sunday and it was just what we needed. The owners are lovely too. Definitely recommend.

Just went in for a few drinks. Got charged just under £6 for my first round. My next round. The exact same and served by the same bar person and she charged me £7.70. I've just arrived and here for the week. I normally tip when on holiday. No chance here and I'll not be back. Head away from the coast and you'll get great service and better value for money. I'm in the Landsdown bar. Same order is £4.10.

My brother in Law & his wife took us in, it was the first time for us but it was a nice experience. The beer was very good and the food as well, we were made to feel at home. That was the reason I gave them the maximum score. we will go in there again.

The Best pint of Jail Ale during our 7 day visit to Devon. Great food all at reasonable prices. Very good staff.👍🍺

Cosy no-frills locals pub with good selection of ales and entertainment several times a week. Unfortunately it sometimes attracts some rather foul-mouthed and uncouth youngsters, so on my last visit I finished my first pint and left. Shame!

Five minutes walk from the seafront, up a narrow alley. Well signposted. Next the Hole In The Wall pub.Three ales on draught, the usual keg lagers, beers, stouts and ciders available.Usual pub grub on the menu. My gammon steak was tasty with good presentation and ample portion size. I've had worse, yet not particularly memorable. My suggestion is that if you seek a top meal, more choice of draught beers and no loud TV, you may prefer the Hole In The Wall, across the lane, two minutes walk away.Complimentary WiFi - ask for password.
