We took our daughter to see Patrick the pony. And had a lovely meal. The food was excellent. Didn't have to wait to long. And well worth the money. And the staff are so helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend. And definitely going to go back

The drumm in has a very pleasant atmosphere in a beautiful little village, the beef was cooked excellently. And the puddings were brilliantly especially the caramel torte. Our waitress Sarah M was amazing and incredibly friendly.

Cant beat a dog walk at Cockington then a drink or lunch at The Drum, Winter, Summer, outside inside, staff welcoming, food good value and the dog menu is perfect, a must if your in Torquay. Oh Breakfast as well is a must delicious xxxxxxxx

A delightful environment where you can guarantee a good meal and service from genuinely pleasant people with actual personalities, as opposed to the automatons that pass as good service in some establishments. Katy and her team are always on hand willing to help/chat/laugh with you.Open fires and a stunning thatched building finish the scene. Go there and drink, eat or just see it in the sunshine in historic Cockington, a hidden gem👌

We’ve had the pleasure of visiting the drum inn a few times now and up until today, have only had a roast there which has been excellent both times. We went for New Year’s Day lunch and had the fish cakes which were delicious, our only criticism is the lack of vegetables as other than a good portion of potatoes, there were two stems of asparagus with a poached egg. Given we are all encouraged to eat plenty of fresh vegetables, and veg is one of the less expensive parts of the dish, we felt they could have been more generous in this respect and hope they consider this in the future.

Super lovely Pub with so much potential to be a great restaurant/bistro. The dining area currently has a 90s style Hotel TV playing Sky news, making ambience zero, food very poor, overcooked Salmon etc, poor seasoning etc

Nice lovely location good staff, however very disappointed in the food we had for lunch. Ordered a brisket sourdough toasted sandwich which I have enjoyed on previous visit. However the size of the sandwich was laughable and definitely not worth the £8.50 price tag, my wife was also disappointed with the portion size of her duck parfit. We mentioned to staff that we were disappointed with portion size and she commented that other diners had also had the same complaint. Would not order again and felt was very poor value for money.

Thankfully the food has gone back to being great. Roast dinners are excellent! The Pub has always been amazing but the food did let it down a few years ago. Now it's great again, already planning our next visit 👏👏👌

Saturday Lunch Time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Everywhere was clean and Covid safe. Food was fantastic and well priced for the good quality of the food. Glad the Tribute was back on 👍
