The Guardhouse Cafe in Torbay

My friend and I visited The Guardhouse Cafe Brixham Devon on 29/03/22. The Cafe is very spacious and bright.We found a table very quickly. The waitress came over with the Menu. She was very smiley and happy and gave top dollar service. We chose the Cheese scone afternoon tea. It came with a huge plain scone that was warm, soft and very fresh. It was accompanied by a big piece of tasty crumbly cheese, a tangy relish and a huge pot of tee. The price was brilliant at £6:50pp.We had an lovely time there. All staff were welcoming, friendly, happy and very deserving of our 5 stars. Will defo visit again, and again etc

Not only the friendliest people you could imagine, but the most beautiful situation... on Berry Head. GENUINELY dog friendly and absolutely fabulous food. Can't wait for our next visit.

Yes, it’s true the staff at the Guardhouse Café are really helpful if you bring your dog along on your own. Food is good and during Covid at least they operate table service so that your dog does not have to keep dragging your chair around the café when you get up.

Wow what an amazing location. Very friendly, polite service and fantastic home made cakes. Well worth a walk.

Our usual stop for refreshments if we’re out for a walk on Berry Head. Staff are always lovely and service perfect. Quality exceptional. Food is sourced locally where possible I believe.We only stopped for takeaway drinks today and as it was New Year’s Day it was very busy (as we knew it would be). There was only a slight wait but perfectly acceptable as it is such a popular place! Staff are always very informative if there will be a wait, but as stated the quality is always superb and therefore should not be rushed.This is a top notch venue and the best in Brixham! Thanks to everyone there that makes it this way! Keep up the exceptional work! 👍

Great location and friendly staff. Food and drinks generally excellent and I would recommend this cafe. I'm probably not typical but for me the (cheese) scone is too big and a little under baked so hard to digest!

Fantastic breakfast with plenty of other options available for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea & cakes, including vegetarian and vegan choices. Very good and friendly service. Tables and chairs properly cleaned after every visit. Dog friendly. Seating inside and out. A must visit.

One of the best crab sandwiches this side of the world.. Great service and we even saw the fresh seafood van outside, so we know it was as fresh as it gets.

Amazing cafe with great options. I had the BEST gluten free sandwich, the bread was so fresh. Service was really good and the lady making coffee was so talented, great coffee and coffee art. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone in the area visiting. 😍😍
