Just drinks, staff were polite seemed a bit preoccupied with each other though. Inside looked ok, the terrace upstairs was a bit shabby. Tables needed a clean and tidy, the floor up there felt a bit unstable when you first walk out. The view overlooking the harbour was good, didn’t use amenities.

Great selection of drinks (spirts and beers), perfect views from the roof terrace, the food was amazing and service was good even though they were busy

Lovely view from the upstairs balcony and the bitter was pulled very well too, hence 4 stars. However, be warned… the prices are Inner London prices! £4.50 for a pint of bitter and £4.60 for Carling lager takes the biscuit! Not far off £10 for 2 pints, we won’t be visiting again. There are some lovely places with views which charge considerably less.

Best Sunday roast beef lunch ever,, gr8 sticky toffee pudding and dog friendly, lovely friendly staff. Try the Shiphan Sparkling Blanc to wash it all down

An amazing place with a beautiful decor. The staff were amazing and the food was out of this world. We weren't waiting long either for it to be brought out to us. The price was very reasonable as well. Definitely visiting again next time we in Paignton

I had the belly pork which was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious. We were a party of six and all the meals were outstanding. Great service and very reasonable prices too.

Stunning service and amazing food, nothing was too much of an ask for them and the staff accommodated our visit brilliantly. The guy who served us was ever so friendly, helpful and attentive. Our compliments to the chef too, the food was fantastic and really reasonably prices. To anyone visiting Torquay or Paignton, I'd recommend a visit here without a doubt! Lovely views over the harbour too when there aren't cars in the way ⛵️

Whilst on holiday in Torquay we decided to visit Paignton and stopped off here.We were one of those infuriating parties that turn up five minutes before closing! But Hannah was more than accommodating and ensured that we were thoroughly looked after. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced and as there is a lot of amusements and fair rides by the pier it is great to be able to eat somewhere out of the hustle and bustle.Would highly recommend

We were told to order our food and drink s on our phones, and we weren't even brought a menu to look at, although others after us had menu. My mum is 89 years old so I read the menu to her out loud and then order her food for her. We both ordered Cod and Prawn Mornay. From when we sat down to when we got our food was approx an hour, the food taking a good 45 mins to arrive and when it did the Mornay sauce had split and was all runny, who ever served the food new this (so I won't say chef) and should never have served it. The flavour was quite nice though and the dish appeared to have been cooked to order, but as well as the split sauce my fish was over cooked too. It's a shame as the dish did have potential, bit was just very poorly executed. We absolutely should have sent the food back but we had waited so long we simply didn't was to re order and wait again for another meal. We did mention about the sauce but we were not offered any recompense. Only saving grace was the lovely polite young lad who served our drinks and the table we had at the front overlooking the ocean. (We nearly sat inside the l pub end which was dark and dingy and the table had not been cleaned and was covered in sticky beer.) Overall a disappointing experience especially as it's the first time we've visited since it was taken over.
