The Old Market House in Torbay

A great pub in a great spot with very lovely staff. It's a St Austell brewery pub, but has a light and contemporary feel in the old market building. Dogs are welcome downstairs and outside, but upstairs is the best view! We called in for a coffee and really enjoyed this place, but the food looked good and at prices you would expect for the area. Imagine it's also lovely in the evenings. We'll be back for sure!

This is our fave haunt when we go "home" to Brixham, food us great caters for Gluten Free which my wife is and they allow dogs downstairs. It's a great place also to gave a drink when the weather is good to people watch.I know we are biased but this IS the best public house in Brixham.See you again in Dec guys. Oh and thanks for the lovely table you reserved for us for my wife's 50th birthday.

Cosy and chill atmosphere, the food was amazing very tasty and decent prices! Staff are super friendly and welcoming especially Brendon he was lovely, attentive, always had a smile and overall being awesome! Really recommend to visit 😁

Some absolute saints work here. Foods amazing, drinks are a good price, great atmosphere. Chef turned the fryers back on for my friends to get some chips just after the kitchen had closed and saved our evening. Mad respect to the workers here. 10/10

Really nice atmosphere - felt very cosy with the fire going and just what we needed after a tiring walk. A few vegan options available for starter, main and dessert.There was a mix up with my main course but staff were apologetic and attentive so issue was quickly resolved.

Another Fantastic visit to the Old Market House. Service was great and food came out almost instantly, hands down the best burger in the bay, compliments to the chef. The coffee was also perfect. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Sat outside in the evening and had a few beers with the family. Had plenty of outdoor heaters and staff were friendly. Table service was a good touch.

Lovely location, just behind the Golden Hind clipper ship along the harbour. Really nice food and plenty of outside tables for the sunny days and some umbrellas when the rain pays a visit. The upstairs balcony tables are probably the best seats, so check there first.
