The Parkers Arms in Torbay

I resently dined in the Paignton branch of the cattlemans, I enjoyed a BBQ style rump steak, it was lovely and tender, it was served on a hotplate allowing me to control the cooking time, it was great fun. The restaurant was very nice and clean and the staff friendly and attentive, lots of parking, I would definitely go again.

Staff so lovely and very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious!! Although a tiny bit too much oil on the Mediterranean style veg for my personal preference but still very tasty. Great value for money, especially the child's menu. I was in complete shock at how much my little boy got for the price. We ended up taking some of it home!I highly recommend. Also a play area out the back which was a lovely bonus!

Thought the menu was expensive, but as a one off went for it...bloody glad I did! The steak was perfect! Came out on a lava rock so I could cut and cook to my personal tastes, and the starters and sides were lovely to go with it. Definitely recommend, definitely worth the money, definitely will be returning!

What a rip off. Went to a party here in April 22. Pokey little room. Drinks were exorbitant. Lager=£4.70. spirit and mixer. £5.50. food was average. Booking a party. Look somewhere else.

Excellent service, fabulous good and very attentive staff. A very warm welcome on entry, shown to the table. We were a party of 6, every meal was cooked to perfection!Will definitely be returning for another tasty steak. I HIGHLY recommend coming for a lovely meal

Starters where pretty awful, came out cold twice and was waiting over an hour for them. However, the main meal was amazing. First time I have cooked my own steak in a restaurant. Would go there again but only for a main meal.

Went for the meal deal at lunchtime, unbelievable value, awesome food & service. Definitely going back soon. Think Beccy served us, she was great 👍

The first time I went I thought it was great and the steak was FANTASTIC so I got my misses to buy her family vouchers for this place as Xmas presents. The 2nd time we went with her brother (with his vouchers) we was very disappointed to say the least. The steak wasn't up to the standard of the first visit and we waited an hour and a half for it. I probably won't go back again now as the steak had too much fat on it and I've had a lot better for half the price. On a plus note the girl that waited our table was lovely.

Great service from the waitress, nice environment, we all had steak and it was excellent, tasty food reasonably priced and accommodating staff. not much more you could ask for from a pub/steak house. really enjoyed it and will return.

This place should be packed all the time tbh. Steak was amazing. Ribs also so good as always you HAVE to get ribs when you come here they are some of the best I've ever had no joke. Sides all pretty average tbh, but you don't come to a steakhouse for sides right. Staff great too never had a grumpy waiter/waitress here on the 3 times I've been.
