The Rockfish Brixham in Torbay

I have used the takeaway twice now. I feel that Rockfish is good but overrated for sure.The chips are good they are tasty too, though the fish is small for what you are paying.I have had cod and hake on my visits. Both were nice and tasty the batter is good but the size of the fish is dissappoingly small.Overall I think that Rockfish is good but both overrated and expensive for what you actually do get.They sell a range of canned drinks both alcoholic and soft.You can go next door to the Rockfish fish market buy your fish and take it into the takeaway where, for £6, they will fry it for you and give you a portion of chips.

This was a real treat for me, I love all types of seafood but I’m the only one in my family with an adventurous taste, but we just had to try it whilst at Brixham for a day out! We didn’t have a reservation so we were luckyto get a table, I would advise you book in advance as they are busy!! Added bonus for us is that our dogs were allowed inside also, which was great! A fabulous menu, with the waiter going through the seafood menu and explaining just what was available and how much each individual item was. There is also a takeaway available in the downstairs section with the restaurant upstairs. Would highly recommend, the food was wonderful and fresh, the customer service was great, wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

Fantastic food exceptional service just what you would expect from a quality restaurant we had Whitebait, Dover sole, tempura King Prawns and Sea Bream fillets, I have to say the Dover sole was the best I have ever had!! Highly recommended

A truly amazing experience. Brilliant staff, knowledgeable chefs, great views and a wonderful ambience... We loved it so much we went back twice but if we had known how fresh the seafood was we would have gone everyday. My only comment would be to ask all you who visit and just have cod and chips - why, when it's not even caught off the coast of Brixham? Anyway, amazing, incredible and honestly some of the UK's best seafood. Superb 👍

A totally enjoyable evening for every reason. Food delicious and cooked perfectly, staff friendly, knowledgeable and super efficient, great atmosphere and wonderful views. I hope that the staff are well looked after during these difficult times as they are a credit to the company! Love the uniform, please can I purchase some t.shirts?

Outstanding. Brilliant service from Adam and the manager. We ate here both night of our 2 night stay and was incredible. Thank you very much to all the staff. The cooking was amazing, the Dover sole and lobster was cooked to perfection Thank you

Great fish and chips and more. Lovely views over the fishing docks with trawlers and everything 'fishy' going on in the surrounding area. Fresh fish shop on the ground floor now. Hugely popular, so always book, or it's a bit of a long wait for a table!

My family 2+2 & our dog had a excellent lunchtime visit to the Brixham restaurant today. The staff were friendly and the service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful meal with the star of the show being the whole Dover Sole which my husband raved about, the fish effortlessly came of the bone, cooked to perfection. My cod was lightly battered, very crispy and meaty. The curry sauce was a tasty accompaniment and the chips unlimited. We had a harbour view which entertained the children as did the little gift bag which was an unexpected bonus. We would absolutely recommend a trip here if you want great fish, chips and a welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The fish selection was amazing and all caught fresh. The staff couldn't do enough for us and great knowledge of the dishes!! Would definitely recommend, book a table to avoid disappointment.
