Superb food, great hospitality, wonderful atmosphere all in a beautiful setting. What more can you ask for. Looking forward to music and Pizza Sundays!

Good food but expensive, 2 adults and 2 kids Sunday roast and 3 pints, £81,Camden Hells, £6 a pint!Sunday roast was very tasty, but 1 carrot, 1 parsnip, 4 roast potatoes, 8 green beans. It's definitely quality over quantity, the saying is you can to much of a good thing, but I say, 'you can at least have more of a good thing'.

Oh wow this pub is one of the most amazing places we have eaten. The food was the best, everything we ate there was really incredible. I would definitely recommend eating here.It's not easy to find but very worth booking and goingThey have the most beautiful gardens and you can also eat outside

Shared an extremely delicious meal at The Thatched Tavern in Maidencombe with my husband. The new owners have really gone the extra mile to make it stunning inside, very welcoming and comfortable, and the food was delicious. I only took a photo of my mulled negroni I’m afraid - we scoffed every last morsel of the food. Olives, bread and dips to start were excellent, my whole plaice was superb and my husband’s belly pork was tender and cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and the new manager - forgot to ask his name - was a lovely northern lad who genuinely cared for the business. Lovely evening and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely superb! Best experience to end our South West Coast Path hike for the week. Food was incredible, drink sizes were amazing value for price. Staff are warm and friendly, absolute pleasure. We are even talking about making a return trip from Bournemouth, just for this pub. - hats off to the designer of the pub, too it looks incredible down to the very last detail!

Truly delicious fresh food that was beautifully presented, very attentive staff - we were even offered to try the gazpacho before ordering. Beautiful pub with a lovely garden and a sea view. Definitely worth a visit. If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we would definitely dine here. 😉

Lovely lamb Sunday lunch. Good menu to choose from and food is good quality. Comfortable outdoor seating. Great service. Limited space to park a car.

Another visit to the Thatched Tavern did not disappoint. With lovely company a absolutely fantastic Jazz artist and a good selection of gin,wines and even freshly made pizza available. The gardens have been updated to accommodate more tables and outside dining amongst agapanthus, magnolia and Hydrangea and roses.

Perfect place to dine. The food was exceptional, every dish we had was cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly, efficient and polite. Thanks Abby, Matt, Charlotte, Liam & team for making our last night in Maidencombe such a delight. We’ll be back!

Superb pub with the feel of an upmarket restaurant. Parking in adjacent public car park. Incredibly beautiful outdoor seating in their landscaped garden. Nice indoor seating as well. Great service. Excellent food. Nothing to fault. Do book as they are popular!
