Go there every Friday. Phone the order through & walk up to fetch it. Fantastic fish & chips & reasonably priced & brilliant, friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended.

Normally go to Hanburys...which is very good but expensive. The Usual Plaice was a quite a bit cheaper. The Fish and chips are excellent and on par with Hanburys. The chicken nuggets and sausages are definitely not as good...which is probably reflected in the cheaper price. Would definitely go again though.

Today I had an amazing dinner, The usual plaice is my go too chippy, I've been to alot, all over the country, and this one is by far My favourite, always top quality and food I I always still hot apon delivery.P.s The delivery driver is always so lovely and always look forward to seeing her excellent customer service. 100/100 recommended!

Wow found this on way back from torquay United. Amazing food. Great value freshly cooked. Great staff blown away by the quality service and value. I recommend to anyone especially you football fans visiting torquay.

Thankyou for a perfect fish and chip takeaway experience. The staff were ALL super helpful and friendly both when we went in and left, the food (2 large cod and 2 large chips) was freshly cooked and took less than 10mins to wait. Home made sauces were brilliant (bbq and tartare) and the curry sauce was different and delicious too. Food fed 2 adults and 2 older kids comfortably with loads of chips to spare because they boxed it all separately. We drove about 10mins to get this and took home, played it and it was still lovely and hot. Well done guys, way better than Rock Fish, way cheaper (just over £20) and just all round worth it.

Lovely haddock and great smoked fishcake. Batter was spot on, perfectly cooked to a golden crisp and survived the short walk back to our apartment. Chips were perfect crispy and fluffy 👍Curry sauce and mushy peas also good and pleased to see them served in a card tub - no more polystyrene! Everything nice and hot and freshly prepared. Could easily eat this every night 😝 😋

We called in for Fish n Chips a couple of weeks ago and the food was lovely. I had cod and chips and partner had plaice - fish was lovely and well cooked. Plenty of chips. This was during the Covid pandemic and we found it well organised and everything felt safe. Friendly and efficient service too. Will be back!

Great fish and chips really hich were both really tasty. The fish was freshly cooked while we waited which is the best way. The fish was also a good size batter was light and fresh. The chips were widely cooked too. This was my first visit to this Fish and Chip shop and when in the area again I will be visiting for sure. I highly recommend the fish and chips for sure. Better value than some other local competitors the food here has quality to match all.
