Weavers Cottage Tea Shoppe in Torbay

A beautiful gem in this amazing village of cockington in Torquay ! Well worth a visit staff are very helpful & so delightful to sit in the garden next time we will have sandwiches! Beautiful surroundings x so we came back for a second visit and ordered amazing sandwiches!

Lovely lovely lovely. Having been to Rose garden tea rooms previously in the village I was disappointed to find out it has closed down. However, I need not have been disappointed as Weavers Cottage was lovely. Had a great afternoon tea with a perfect cup of tea and some delicious fruit and savory scones. Great service and would highly reccomend

Very lovely high tea here. Very dog friendly, they even gave the dogs a little pot of cut up sausages, which was really nice

This tea garden is just incredible!I requested a table for seven of us last minute and this was accommodated, we were offered a table in the most sunny part of the tea garden, which was perfect as it was a bit of chilly day.The cream teas, coffees, and cakes that we ordered were lovely, the service was incredible, very attentive and friendly, and to top it off, the tea garden is dog friendly which meant a delightful experience for us dog lovers!Would not hesitate to visit again, and we are actually really looking forward to returning. Honestly, could not recommend this place more!

Lovely garden tea room. Food was delicious and the service very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the cheese scones and thought that has gone into the new menu. We will definitely visit again especially to try the lovely afternoon tea which we saw someone else have and it looked superb. This is a lovely stop off when visiting Cockington. A great find!

Popped into the tea shoppe today. Managed to get a table straight away although it was busy on a sunny afternoon. Guy serving was very courteous and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for anyone he was serving. All staff on duty were brilliant. We ordered high tea and fresh sandwiches. All made fresh and very tasty with very good quality produce. Salad dressing on sandwiches was the best. Good luck with your new adventure.

Just lovely. We were a group of eight so tried a fair bit of the menu between us and it was all great. The owners are lovely and couldn't have been more accommodating. They have recently taken it over and want to do all they can to make it a success. Cockington itself is very pretty. Would totally recommend. And good luck to the new owners!!

We visited today and were not disappointed the owner was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Cheese tea was delicious and a huge pot of tea with lovely China sat in the glorious sun. My only critique was when people are waiting for a table maybe stand them over by the entrance as it can seem like they are standing over you whilst your eating. Apart from that loved it and go visit! 😀

Weavers Cottage in Cockington just taken over by new couple in Jan 22. Now March and just stopped by to try the tea garden. Coffee very good, my wife's homemade flap jack with chocolate on top very good (plain available) my gluten free carrot cake very good.Looks like a nice selection of things and gluten free options as well.Service very quick and friendly.Well worth a second visit soon.
