Lovely food and nice staff, not pushy, just right.

The food was amazing, we went on the @doodandfrink week, we wanted to try everything on the menu. The atmosphere is fab, such a lovely Bistro.

Good food although two of our three meals were served cold but replaced without any problem. Very loud host/head waitress.

My wife and I visited last night and enjoyed an exceptional meal. The menu is very small, which usually means everything is fresh and that's the way it tasted. There was also a specials board and catch of the day. Every dish we tried was lovely. Finally the staff were all lovely and attentive, making it a great evening. Thanks, we will be back.

Food was good but unfortunately hugely let down by the service. 1 hour from arrival to the starters being served (including the olives). Glasses/plates not cleared between courses. Long waits between each course. Could not bear to wait for another long gap to get the desserts. So left early.

Very friendly service and felt very welcome. Good suggestions of dishes for our children. Nice decoration in restaurant and bar with vintage doors used as wall decor.

Tentative staff, good service.The food is excellent here. They do a tapas style lunch menu. The vegetarian tempora batter veg in soy sauce is amazing.The chef take pride in his food and it is well presented. The wines here are very good. 😁

Couldn't be more happier with our experience of wellies!! We booked a table for our wedding celebrations recently and the staff went above and beyond to cater for us. Thank you so much for all of the little touches such as the balloons and the great service. Will defo be recommending this place to everyone, can't wait to go back for more delicious food. X

Booked a table for a midweek treat and having heard such good things. Was told at the time of booking that a live band would be on at the time requested, appreciated as then you know rather than it be an unexpected (potentially unwanted surprise) so top marks there for customer service.when we arrived the band and bar were in full flow (our table booked for 20:15) this didn't stop us being able to get to the bar and acknowledge our booking. We were taken to our table (better than some restaurants been to where they just point out your table) asked if we would like a drink while we browsed the menu. Again Customer service TICKThe menu was a great range of food for all tastes and it took me along time to decide (in a good way) Tapas looked tempting too.We ordered and the food was out in good time considering how busy it was.The whole atmosphere and ambiance was spot on, the band played a good style of folk music which seemed to really fit well in the atmosphere, wasn't too loud or overbearing. The bar and eating area cleverly separated without being isolated.We loved the decor too!The staff worked very hard and were very attentive with serving.Will 100% recommend and return.If i had to find one thing it would be perhaps some other lagers on tap? but that is just me being pickyThanks all at Wellies for a great night and food

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere and all the food was really tasty, from the crab sandwich to the Thai monkfish curry. No kids specific menu but very happy to accommodate. Service a little slow, but a very pleasant place to hang out.
