A slice of life cafe in Torridge

Had a coffee with friends today here, it was awful. We did complain and was told that is how we make our coffee. I ordered a flat white. It came in a large mug. It tasted like filtered coffee, so weak. No frost on the top. After politly saying that we cannot drink the coffee, we were charged with paying. We paid and walked out, we wouldn't be going there again!

Popped in for breakfast on our first morning of our stay in westward ho! Throughly enjoyed it. So much so we went in again twice on our last day to have breakfast and a cream tea!The Food was amazing, the service was great and was the best priced of all the local cafes.Would definitely recommend a little visit if you are in the area!

Stayed in Westward Ho two years running but never got around to coming here, recently property hunting in the area and popped in for lunch and it was excellent! Really warm welcome, enjoyed freshly cook, very substantial lunches plus a pot of tea which gave us 4 good cups, all for around £18. A lovely atmosphere, excellent service and everything spotlessly clean. While here we received the call to say we had secured the property we were after, and was so excited I forgot to buy some delicious looking cake I had been eyeing up to take out! We are close by in Woolsery so know that this will be a favourite place for us to visit.

Decent coffee, reasonably priced considering where we are. Also had a very tasty Eggs Benedict.Friendly service, will be back to try the cakes next time.

A lovely friendly cafe. Wonderful staff. They always cook a sausage each for our dogs as well. The food is delicious 😋

Cream tea was delicious, warm scone, best I've ever tasted. Lovely, friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Will definitely be visiting again

Perfect way to start the day off after a long car journey

Great atmosphere. Very friendly and inviting place and the food was fabulous. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area go and see for yourselves you won't be disappointed
