Great place to eat in Bideford, fantastic menu, great service and great cocktails. Visit and enjoy!Another great evening at Belluno, July 22, delicious food as always, and great company!

Went for a meal at this place earlier this week. Having Italian family, I can honestly say this has been the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in the UK. The atmosphere and food are very authentic and the taste of the dishes are amazing. If you are ever in Bideford, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone!

Came here for food last minute, was pretty busy so was lucky to get a table.A combination of great service and lovely food.. so I'm not surprised it was busy !Had a recent pizza restaurant disappointment elsewhere .. so was cautious about going for a pizza again. No need for me to worry .. highly recommend

Absolutely lovely waitresses and waiters, my little boy had the best night! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. Wish we didn't live so far away! Definitely the best night of the holiday :)

Very cosy and inviting atmosphere. The food was very very good.We all had a starter main and dessert with drinks and there wasn't a single thing that came out that was in any way plain. Great flavours and very well presented.Seems like it is likely a family run restaurant. The staff were warm and friendly and the service was great.A little expensive but well worth what we paid. Would go again

Fantastic lunch! Pizza, calzone, spaghetti bol, and 2 beef roasts all absolutely fantastic. Dessert were equally as good. Will definitely be back again.

Absolutely blown away tonight. This place is excellent, food off the scale, service attentive and quick. Lots of quality little touches that made the experience excellent, ie Crystal cut glass for cocktails and stoneware jug for water. We will be back but unfortunately we live 150 miles away so a 300 mile roundtrip not something we can do weekly but with this food and value for money it might be doable!!!

Last night me and some friends ( Michael, Liam and Maddalena ) had a fabulous evening eating out out at Belluno's Italian Restaurant in Bideford. Our servers were Kela, Amy-Marie and Alex who made us very welcome and looked after us with care and affection going along with our daftness and jokes. The dished were simply fantastic as were the deserts. The sharing starter platter was plenty for us 4 to dig into within a few minutes of being seated. My Brazino (basa fillet) had lovely crispy skin which I devoured with agusto. My friend's pasta and lasagna were steaming hot, flavorful and full to the brim of the bowls. The sides of broccoli were cooked exactly as I like; not soggy and limp, but cooked through and still crisp. I didn't really need a warm fondant with ice cream after my liquor Irish coffee but it the creamy chocolate soft in the middle with lovely chocolate brownie sponge on the outside was just too tempting. The others had panna cotta which cleansed their pallets, tasted lovely and finished off an already superb eating experience. Thank you Belluno's for your kindness, civility and putting up with us all night.Bite for Bideford highly recommends Belluno's.We'll be back!! 🍽️🍛 .

Unfortunately for the chef of Belluno's, the serving staff leave a sour taste in the mouth, despite the food being excellent. Amazing quality food is let down by a large number of wait staff ushering guests out of the door as soon as physically possible. While I imagine they have a large number of bookings, there is a fine line between being efficient and down right rude. When booking, there was no mention of a "time limit" to dine at the restaurant, however upon entry guests are advised they have 90 minutes to eat and are expected to leave at that time. Due to the speed of service this would not normally be an issue, however the problem lies within being reminded multiple times despite being nowhere near the time limit we were given. An hour into our time at Belluno's we received our desert and multiple times heard wait staff ask what our table was doing, what we were waiting for and constant looks from staff. Everyone had had multiple drinks and ordered main courses and a few had ordered desserts, if we had gone in with no intention of ordering a decent amount of food it would be understandable to turn our table over as quickly as possible. We requested the bill and payment was requested mid way through members of the table eating dessert. The constant reminders of a time limit and poor treatment of customers waiting outside, ultimately meant we left the restaurant pleased with the food, yet annoyed with everything else.My compliments to the chef.
