Cafe on the barge in Torridge

Stopped off for a drink on our walk into the town. Good fun and great value. 🤗🤗

Great place for great food and drink with friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Love "the Boat". It's very quirky with lovely views. Good for a chilled beer. The giant hotdogs are well presented and tasty. Our grandson loves the old-fashioned football game and the other little games of a bygone era.

Unique place to stop off at, friendly and nice atmosphere.

Had a cheese toastie and glass of wine at an affordable price. The inside is kept as a quiet area, which I appreciate, and will use thus cafe as my first choice when staying in Bideford.

Wow what an amazing experience on bored this cafe boat the owners are lovely the food is lovely and I must say really cheap the view is amazing some really old stuff inside the boat its a must see guys

What a great place! Old fashioned penny machines, quirky setting and a really good menu. Even the simple cheese toasty was the best I've had in a long while. Loved the touch of having binoculars so you could look over the river while you ate.

A very unique cafe. Cross the gang plank to board the barge. Inside is seating and tables. Order drinks and food from the counter. Very extensive food menu available. Premises are licenced to sell alcoholic drinks.More seating and tables on the main deck of the barge. This gives you great views of the surrounding area including from the old bridge to the new bridge and beyond. PaidParking is available in the main bank end car park. There are toilets inside.The cafe sometimes opens in the evenings for special events.Great place to visit.

Nice lovely little cafe on a boat lovely views and peaceful. At little expensive and my drink wasn't cold but a nice place to stop.

Fastastic quirky cafe on a boat. Very lovely staff. Great food and a good choice. The also serve beers, wine, and most importantly real ales.
