Crisp & Dry in Torridge

Have cod, haddock and jumbo sausages which I share with my little dog Peaches. All delivered perfectly cooked and very hot. Hats off to Luke their delivery person for which nothing is too much trouble. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Thank you very much.

Went in to this fish and chip shop for the first time in almost 3 years didnt like it then and still dont, thought it would have got better, the chips had no potato In them, the fish was okay, I rung and ordered for a regular fish and chips and when I got it home looked like I had a childs fish with an XL portion of chips, and the other half had a regular sized fish and a regular sized portion of chips, when we asked for a large fish with regular sized portion of chips, I didnt like the price I had to pay for what I got. But this is my own experience, but others may seem to enjoy it, but I am afraid this just isnt for me, I will go to bude and get my fish and chips from now on sorry crisp and dry,

Good fish and chips, nicely cooked. Was ready at the time they said it would be and they couldn't stop apologising for the wait even though I was early to collect. Good value I will be back for more.

As a Holsworthy Exile living in Belgium, I always look froward to some traditional fish and chips when back home. The fish here was super quality, and perfectly cooked. I didn't order chips as I was not so hungry, but using my 'expert Belgian eye for Frites', I could see they were also very good, and cooked with the Belgian double fry method.

After a 9 hour drive the excellent fish, chips, peas and curry was very appreciated. It was still hot when delivered and the fish batter was still crispy. Lovely polite and friendly delivery guy. Served in a card board box which makes all the difference in my opinion. I'm sure we'll be back again this week. Thanks Crisp & Dry

Very good fish but the chips could have been better. They were a bit pale and for me, could have done with a bit longer in the oil. Also I expected more for a large portion at £2.60. Excellent fish though :-)

We normally love the fish and chips here, but lastnight they were awful, the box was saturated in oil, the chips were soggy and again dripping in oil, very poor lastnight. Enough for us to not want to go back again x

This place is great, the team always cater for our company and opening up especially for us. The food is of a high standard and tastes great and the portion sizes are generous. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you

Fish and chips, sausage and chips.....55 minutes wait. They then decided they had run out of fish then ran out of chips!?When I eventually did get something they were not brilliant.Serious, go to the other chippy and avoid this place like the plague. The 2 young lads seemed to have no idea what they were doing, the place was busy until people decided to walk out.WORSTCHIPPYEVER!!!!!!!!! N

My family and I have eaten here numerous times, everything has always been delicious.The food tastes fresh, cooked well, and the staff are always polite and friendly.The portions are also quite generous and I've not experienced the food being too oily/greasy which some chippies can suffer from.Best chip shop in Holsworthy :)
