Indian Ocean in Torridge

We ordered a meal delivery to our holiday address seven miles from the restaurant. It arrived, piping hot, exactly on time. Our 'set meal for 4' was deliciously tasty and plenteous. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Not particularly Indian restaurant-like inside, looks more like a hotel reception.Service pleasant, food was quite good but not great. Was ok though, just unmemorable.

Excellent service. Staying at Halwill junction roughly 7 miles away and they delivered a lovely hot meal within an hour.

The food served here was absolutely delicious and really couldn’t be faulted. The failings are in the restaurant atmosphere, or lack there of. The service of one waitress was also terrible - unfriendly, took ages to be acknowledged when we were the only people in. The man who served us food was friendly and helpful. The restaurant also lacks any background music and the decor is questionable to say the least. No alcohol is served on premises either which is something to be aware of. But the food really was fabulous.

We were staying just outside of Bude and have previously visited curry houses in Bude but this place smashes the others out of the water! Ordered food just before they were closing on the bank holiday weekend and collected. The 20 mins drive was worth it though and the food was amazing and I would recommend this Indian to all in the local area. Customer service was brilliant and a great little find! Thanks Indian Ocean - I will be back!

Best Indian food I’ve had in five years of living in Devon!! Had a vegetarian dhansak and korma plus lots of other items and everything was delicious. If you’re looking for your run of the meal, tasteless tat Devon normally offers then don’t go here as this has taste!! I was staying locally for a birthday party and normally live an hour away but will definitely find my way back!

Absolutely first rate. We hadn't eaten from here in while as we found a certain place in Bude we liked, however, we are so glad we came back and we will be eating here more often now. .... bonus they do delivery.... food taste and quality was delicious.... portion size is excellent if on the large size (from a guy who has a larger appetite) cannot recommend enough.

Ordered from here last night. The delivery came nice and quickly. The food was very hot and tasted amazing. The staff were very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend eating from here.

Great curry, lousy timekeeping. Online ordering allows for you to pick any time you like with no regard for how busy they are. A lot of people waiting well beyond their chosen collection time. We were told it would be another 10 minutes 3 times.Good food, but don't expect it to be on time if it's busy.

Ring ahead to place your order. Have on occasions had to wait well beyond the collection time given which is frustrating bug the quality and quantity of food is outstanding. The food is very flavoursome and worth the 45min round trip yo collect.Medium spiced good is often very mild so if you like spice go hot.Staff are very helpful, polite and all wear face masks making you feel COVID safe.Will always order from here as the good is never a let down.
