Me and my fiance visited here whilst on holiday in Bideford. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious! We had a coffee and a pasty, the pasties were so tasty and a great size! Always a nice touch when your coffee comes with a little biscuit. The cafe was very clean . We really enjoyed our little stop off!

On holiday, visited Bideford. We struggled to find anywhere to get a coffee when we came across this cafe/cake shop. Great coffee. When we looked at the range of cheesecakes on offer we couldn't leave without buying some to take home, (well back to our motorhome actually), one slice salted caramel and one slice lemon. Unbelievable gorgeous. I wish they could be sent by post!

If I had to describe this place with one word, I would say, "inconsistent." My first experience here was a banoffee pie, which tasted fresh, fragrent, and delicious. The next time I went here, the "carmel crunch" pie was made incorrectly (lacked the carmel crunch topping and was basically a different pie with carmel syrup drizzled on top) but the quality of the ingredents itself maintained the same level of quality. We also got cream tea here, which was terrible. The "scones" were more like dinner rolls. I would say you might get a decent pie if you're lucky, but your experience could differ between visits, from the person you came with, etc.

Me and my wife have used the cafe a number of times. Today I was passing by and was desperate to use a toilet. I am 78 years of age recovering from bowel cancer and removal of my gall bladder. I asked politely if I could use their toilet but was refused. I told them the urgency, said I was a customer but as I was not buying anything today, they were adamant that I could not use their facilities. How kind, compassionate and understanding!. If I was a homeless vagrant I could not have been treated worse. I suggest you look elsewhere if you want a coffee and cake. I certainly will.

Brilliant shop excellent food !However, we felt that the male that was serving today was very miserable and could have done with putting a smile on his face. Please cheer up and use your customer service skills as the food is very enjoyable and we will return.Thank you .... 😄

☕🍰 Best coffee shop in town, run by Lindsey and Benjamin. Lindsey makes some of the best cakes and sweet treats you could hope for, and Benjamin is the smiling happy face that greats and serves you. With all the multi national coffee houses filling the highstreets these days, it is a welcome change to have an independent coffee shop with a personal touch. The coffee served here is far better than the big chains too.

Don't arrive after 4pm as you won't get a hot drink. This facility is cleaned a little too early. Really they should state this rather than say closing time is 4:30pm as advertised on line. Otherwise, when I used to visit before, the cafe is good and attentive.
