Stopped only for wine and coffee. Beautiful country pub of great age. Lovely log fire burning. Lots of guests arrived for Sunday Lunch.

Lovely village pub to stay in. The times are clean and tidy. We had the superior room which was lovely and spacious. The staff are friendly and helpfulWhen we booked the room, a take was they automatically booked a table for dinner the us, which was very thoughtful. We were asked on arrival if we would like the table.I would stay again.

Beautiful 15th century pub serving a variety of Ales and Spirits. They have a restaurant on site or eat in the wood beamed bar from a very good selection of meals starters and desserts. The food is fabulous 👌 and portions are very good.In all a very pleasant experience if you want a good meal or just a drink. I will definitely go again well worth seeking out this lovely old pub at Sheepwash in Devon.Trevor and Zeta.

I booked rooms at The Half Moon Inn last minute to beat Storm Eunice before our local holiday cottage stay. Reception was friendly, warm & welcoming from my first phone call. Everyone was so helpful & accommodating for our daughter, son in law & their baby & our dogs. Our large rooms were warm, dated but not tired, good showers - new owners so we hear plans are in store.Great breakfast to start our day - local produce. We enjoyed our stay so much we returned for Sunday lunch - home roasts, perfectly cooked veg & home made puddings.

We had a wonderful experience here, from the welcome as we walked in to the Time we left. This cosy village pub is full of charm. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We had a Sunday roast and it was beautiful, so good that we had to come back for another meal in the week, and yet again we were not let down .I Highly recommend that if you are in the area that you pop in and hopefully have the same experience.A big thank you to all at the Half Moon and look forward to coming back in the Future. I wish you all the best.
